Chapter 16After some consideration, they used the A4 to avoid tolls. “Don’t want to risk getting caught on a camera,” Leah pointed out. “We are technically planning to break into a historical site to steal a priceless artifact.” Night had fully fallen by the time they reached the Bagshot, and it took some time to find a spot where they could take Oliver off road, rather than using the marked paths into Broadmoor Bottom. They rumbled over the brush and carefully maneuvered through the trees, finally parking in a small clearing when it was clear the woods were growing thicker, and much of the forest floor covered in nettles and briars. “Deep within the warren’s stranglehold,” Leah muttered to herself. “Yeah, okay.” She shook herself as she shut off the car, and began to unbuckle herself.
