Oliver’s countdown sounded in the background as my punches and kicks landed on the rogues. I wished to do this as effortlessly and as quickly as possible so I moved swiftly. Choosing their vital spots, temples, necks, and knees, I hit them one by one, and they dropped like flies.
The night air rang with their cries of pain, the crunching of bones and their mangled sighs but I didn't stop until the countdown reached 10. Oliver slowly opened his eyes again.
