“Where are you taking me?” Kyoko asked trying once again to distract him. “It feels good to be in your car again instead of the dirty cabs they have around here.” They had been friends for so long that she’d known the moment that he would start asking questions that she really didn’t want to answer just yet.
Tasuki smiled with pride, glad he had made her happy for the moment… that was all he wanted. “I am taking you somewhere that I hope will spoil you for a little while.” He pulled into the curved drive and right up to the entrance. “Something tells me you’ve been working so hard on the bad side of town that you have forgotten to visit the good side of it.”
