CHAPTER 3

NOAH

    I was working out with some of my boys when I got a text from Teri asking if I wanted to go out with both her and Sky. Honestly there was no hesitation to me saying yes to that so I finished my workout, said bye to my boys and went home to start getting ready. As I was in the process of getting ready, all I could think about was getting to see Sky again. Every time I think about her or hear her name I get butterflies in my stomach. I know that is pretty girly to say but it's how I felt. She is this beautiful, feisty and lively short gorgeous pitch-black wavy haired goddess with hazel eyes and natural freckles that other girls would kill for. She has this full lips that make me just wanna smash my lips on them. I have always been in love with her and her bubbly personality. She makes everyone around her happy and laugh, that is just who she is. She should have been mine a long time ago but that backstabbing piece of s**t took her from me. Mike was my bestfriend, like a brother, and I told him everything including how I felt about Sky. He used to tell me if I told her how I felt she would shut me down on the spot because she doesn't like me, although I could swear that she flirts with me all the time. Plus her and Teri are like sisters, which means they talk about everything. So why would Teri tell me that Sky loves me? She wouldn't lie to me about that, right? I made the mistake of believing him instead of Teri and look what that got me. When I heard that Mike asked Sky out and she said yes, my heart shattered but I couldn't blame anyone but myself. I never told Sky how I felt so how would she know that I loved her. I was happy to see her happy with Mike, even though it broke me every time I saw them together. At first she was super happy and giggly, like her usual self, but after a while I noticed she had changed. Not alot, but still enough for me to notice and around that time Teri would give Mike a stare that should kill. I have always wanted to ask Sky what that was about but we stopped hanging out after a while. One night I got a call from Mike saying Sky wanted all of us to go out as a group to celebrate her promotion at work. This is the perfect opportunity to tell her how I felt, but it didn't go as planned. The whole night, she was in his arms even though she looked uncomfortable and I wanted to take her away from him. After a couple, no alot, of drinks I finally had the courage to tell Sky that I loved her but when I went to go look for her she was gone. Teri came up to me and told me that Mike and Sky were arguing outside so I went to go get her. When I got out there she was crying, and without hesitation, I ran to her and hugged her. I don't know what happened but all I cared about was Sky being ok. "What the f**k are you doing Noah? That's my girlfriend remember?", I wanted to punch him in the face but before I could even catch myself I said, " Well for someone who seems to claim her as his girlfriend you sure seem like a shitty boyfriend. I love this girl and always have so when you f**k up I will take my chance and be there for her until she realizes that its me who she needs to be with." All hell broke loose after that. Teri was holding sky while me and Mike were being held by others to not fight. Once the guys let me go I went looking for Sky again but Teri told me that both she and Mike rushed out of there. I was pissed, but what could I do, that is her boyfriend. I clear my mind in the shower and start to get ready as it is about time to go pick up the girls for our night out. I couldn't help but smile and blush at the thought of being able to see Sky again. I had to dress to impress if i'm going to be hanging with the girls again so I threw on a nice pair of black jeans and a black button down long sleeve, with the sleeves rolled up to my elbows; with some black and red Jordans and Rolex. I left to go pick up Teri and we headed to Sky's place. I asked her about three times why I was invited after what went down between all of us the last time we hung out. She just kept dancing around my questions and changing the subject. I gave up once we got close to Sky's place and Teri called her to let her know we were pulling in. I tried to keep up with her, but she ran straight out of the car to the door. From where I was standing in that moment, it looked like Sky didn't even have a chance to open the door before Teri pushed it open and disappeared. When I got to the door all I saw was Sky trying to push Teri off her to breathe. "Holy Crap! Are you trying to kill me? Who is going to get you into trouble tonight if you suffocate me?", was all I heard. I replied with the first thing that came to mind," I guess i'll have to do." I was so mesmerized by how beautiful she looked once she was facing me. She was wearing a but more make-up than usual but she was still gorgeous to me, no mater what. I couldn't help but smirk when I noticed she was just staring at me, with her mouth a bit open. I figured she didn't want to have any issues tonight so I went up to give her a hug and whispered in her ear, "I know I look good, and you make me wanna rip your clothes off right here right now, but you need to remember that you have a boyfriend and close your mouth." I giggled until she pulled away from me. When I looked at her, she had this confused look on her face, which then made me confused. "I'm guessing Teri didn't tell you anything on your way over here," she said laughing and we both looked over to Teri who is just smiling at this point and she just responds," I wanted you to be able to give him the great news!" I just looked back at Sky waiting for an answer to what the f**k is going on. I was about to ask them where Mike was when Sky started to talk. "I broke things off with Mike today for good. Which is why I asked Teri to have a girls night out, but apparently her selective hearing kicked in and didn't hear the girls part." We all start laughing, and i couldn't help but be happy and excited that she is no longer with that loser. Its my turn to get the girl of my dreams, but I do want to know what happened. "Let's pre-game! Where is the liquor and weed?", ofcourse Teri would ask for those two things. As soon as she walked away I asked Sky, "So what happened? Why did you break it off with Mike?" Damn, I sounded a but to excited but I didn't care, I was excited about it. She looked straight into my eyes and smiled, GOD she makes me melt just by smiling at me. All I wanted to do was kiss her, but I know that I can't just do that, but let's see how the night goes. "I don't think that is the best conversation to have on a night that I want to try and forget my ex, plus I don't need to give you another reason to want to kill him." Kill him? what does she mean by that? "First of all, if you do not recall, me and Mike are no longer friends and Second of all, what could he have done that would make me want to kill him?" Just then, Teri with her great timing, waltzes in with a rolled joint, bottle of liquor and some s**t glasses. I decided to just drop the conversation and just enjoy the night wit the girls. I have plenty of time to talk to Sky about her and Mike and what she meant about another reason to kill him.
