There lived a girl named Monica,fair in complexion,blonded hair,Monica was a beauty indeed,yeah Monica was 10 years old.Monica lived with her parent and two younger siblings(twins)Ruby and jude in a remote area

Monica was a girl of her own linage,A girl whom everyone admired

the birds of the earth woke Monica up

Monica:Good Morning Mama

Mrs Arike:My daughter Good Morning you know your Going to the market today so please hurry up

Monica:But Mama i just woke up now

Mrs Arike:Don't question my order go in now and dress up

Mrs Arike:please hurry you know your coming back to dress your siblings to school please hurry

Monica walk on a busy road selling beans cake

Customer:Beans cake.......

Monica:Good morning sir

Customer:Monica my love how are you

Monica:please sir,i am not here for that, sir i am here to sell what my mum asked me to sell,please sir how many do you want

Customer: Monica come inside my house let me give you the money

(Monica takes her beans cake and left,not too long Monica sold all her beans cake and returned home)

Monica:Mama am done selling

Mrs Arike:My darling daughter,you know your the one providing for this family,so you have too work harder so that your sibling can go to school

Monica:But Mama what about me(i am only 10 years old mama)what about my own education

Mrs Arike:Will you shut up your mouth who will carter for me,your father,your sibling,who will pay for your siblings school fees,even the roof is leaking we need you,so you can work for this household

Monica:But Mama,Ruby can stop schooling too,she can as well assist me

Mrs Arike:Are you mad,do you want your junior sister to suffer! she can't do that she has to finished her education and go to the university.

Monica:ok Mama

Mrs Arike: Go in and dress them,schooling was not meant for people like you

Monica:ok mama i will

(Tears filled Monica's eye has she went inside)

Ruby:sister why are you crying exclaimed!

Monica:its Nothing "something flew inside my eye!

jude:sister i need biscuit

Monica:i will get it for you on your way to school

Ruby:Me too

Monica:ok dear i will get it for you too

Ruby and Jude:thank you sister

Mrs Arike:Monica.......shouted Have your sibling eaten?

Monica:yes Mama they have!But Mama i haven't eaten

Mrs Arike:come and collect this 100naira and get yourself something we don't have any money you have too managed

Monica:But Mama you know what your doing is not fair but am also your daughter

Mrs Arike:i know but you still have to provide

Mr john(Monica's Dad): Arike.... Arike....Arike....

Mrs Arike: Am coming.........

Mr john: Young woman do you know that what your doing to that girl is not fair(But she is also your daughter....why treat her in that manner)

Mrs Arike:shut up...shut your mouth you old man,if this girl your defending isn't working how would all of us survive

Mr john: Have you for once thought about her future as the(first Daughter)

Mrs Arike:i dont care about her future!she has to work,she is my daughter and i know what's best for her

Mrs Arike:Am leaving?

Monica:yes papa

Mr john:My daughter i know your very angry right now am sorry(have talked to your mum but she is not listening to me)Am sorry she is the one making decisions now

Monica:papa it's fine

Mr john:I pray for you that anywhere you go you will proper

(it came as a flashed 15 years past in a glinched jude and Ruby were done with schooling and Ruby was preparing for her university examination)

(Monica turned 25 years old,she was still catering for her family,she paid for her sibling school fees through the little business she was doing till when they were done schooling,she took care of all the bills at Home,Monica now worked as a tailor to get more money (Monica suffered a Tragedy)

One faithful day Monica met a rich merchant man who came from the city to her own village,they two got in contact,and love found Monica
