Two ancient oaks towered them at each side, this was the gate of Austrivid, the gate was created by the intertwined branches of the trees. They were tangled in such an ornate way that the branches themselves bore the design of a great oak in the center of the gate. As they stood in front of the gates, two large stags stood by each oak as it's sentinels, at the sight of them the two sentinels approached, when they faced Cana they bowed low till their antlers touched the ground, they didn't lift their heads until Cana had acknowledged them and they guided them to the gates, and as the tip of their antlers touched the oaken gates the branches began to untangle themselves creating an opening for them to pass through.
