The moon was full and the wind blew gently rustling the leaves, waking a boy from his shallow slumber. He gazed at his window, he saw the fireflies dancing around the trees and the nightingales sang their most melodious song as if calling the child out to witness their grand display of songs. The boy heeded the call of adventure, he kicked off his covers and quickly wore his coat over his shirt, put on his animal skin boots, he picked up his satchel and tucked a small knife in his belt.
