The dice of destiny in her hands

CHAPTER TWO - THE DICE OF DESTINY IN HER HANDS

On the year 2010, a not well-known scientist invented a d**g to cure the phobias of a human being but he failed when he tested it on a familiar subject. People who consumed this d**g became more aggresive in any means causing them to be psycho but the d**g only affects those who have phobias so the government didn't pay much attention to it.  

The people around the scientist didn't believe him, driving him to depression and anxiety which lead to evilness more than sadness. He gave himself a new identity, a new brand and a new name for the d**g---from being Neutral to Murklin. The people who took this d**g will be a murklin in just a weeks of taking it, their mind turns into psycho, their heart burns for killing and their soul forms into a monster.

PRESENT

The wound on the lady's back are already healed and there's still no sign or symtoms that she is turning to a murklin again'' Eurydice messaged Rhyme on her phone to get him updated on the happenings. Eurydice Ann Mcgregory, is a fifteen years old home schooled student, she is short-tempered and has anthrophobia which means fear of people.

She was surrounded by technologies as well as locked in her room since she was just a child and she managed to have friends on the internet because of her website that feature's supernatural, creepy and dark stuff. 

While browsing down the internet Eurydice's brother then suddenly knock on the door of her room, ''Eury are you there? it's time to eat'' causing Eurydice to immediately shut down her computer and open the door. ''We got fried chicken, brocolli and a glass of water for today's lunch!'' Her brother put down the two plates on the beautiful table beside her bed.

Eurydice nodded in responce as they sat down and eat.''I saw this man and a giant lizard one day ago, I thought he would kill it but turns out he saved her'' Eurydice's brother unexpectedly tell her on what he see. Eurydice then stop eating due to the shock his brother gave her: ''Yeah..I saw it on the news but they never mention a man there so let's just eat''.

Eros, Eurydice's older brother doesn't know a thing her sister is doing despite all caring for her, he initially just don't ask because his worried that it might hurt her sister in a way. Eros is Rhyme's classmate and Eurydice don't know about that while Rhyme didn't even know what she look like.

EXACTLY ONE YEAR AGO Eurydice found this things about Murklins, leading her to an ultimate curiosity. She investigated it, hiring outsider around the cities which made her know Rhyme Quazer. At first she didn't know the man's identity but through various research and spying, she learned everything about the man with sword whom some people called Dauntless.

Eurydice approached Rhyme using her drone while he was leaping or rather jumping into buildings to catch a Murklin. ''Believe me! I know how you can defeat him without actually following him!'' Eurydice shouted watching on the monitor. ''What bullsh*t are you f*cking? How am'I suppose to believe a stranger?'' Rhyme continued to run on the roofs to not lose sight of his prey.

I KNOW HIS ADDRESS!'' Eurydice blurted out causing Rhyme to immediately stop, ''You should've said that earlier. So where is it?'' He look at the drone's camera. 

They then went into the murklin's place, hide there as the man came inside to his home, dragging the dead body of a woman he just killed because of her dirty hands that touch him. The man has germaphobia, it is the fear of germs that refers broadly to any microorganism that causes disease. He most likely killed everyone who he find dirty.

Rhyme quietly sneak behind and places the edge of his sword on the man's neck then uttered ''GIVE UP OR FIGHT ME?''. The man didn't answer the question as Rhyme noticed his sword is slowly getting rust so he quickly remove it while the man turn around infront of him. Spitting salivas that totally look like toxics, Rhyme parried the man's spout by holding his sword vertically.

Eurydice drone's came closer to distract the man then when she successfully done it, Rhyme move forward and thrust the man's mouth using the remaning half of his sword as he pulled out his knife, slashing the man's neck and stabbing him multiple times on the stomach until he died.

After that Rhyme cleaned up the mess he made, ''If a murklin shows signs or actions that it want to kill. He or she should be killed'' He explained to Eurydice whom was shocked and quiet because of the happenings. Later that day Eurydice arrived at Rhyme's location unbothered about what happened yesterday. 

It's to dangerous. You can't be involved''.

I already had and besides I just stay on my room, no one will harm me so I will continue to help you. You won't defeat the boss without any help'' Eurydice replied like she is in a game to Rhyme whom pointed the tip of his new sword to the drone's camera. ''Then do the search and I will fight!'' He agreed and that's how they became partners.
