Axel had disappeared by the time Camille headed to Nick's room. Fiona was also nowhere to be found. As she made her way to the dining room, she overheard a conversation coming from the library. Charles seemed to be well aware of what had transpired earlier.
"Oh... so you're Axel’s girlfriend, huh? and you followed him here, which is why Dad met you?" Fiona snapped, catching her off guard as she appeared out of nowhere. She had been anticipating this confrontation at any time.
"I had no idea he was a married man, Fiona. If I had known, I wouldn't have come here, even on my worst day."
