Chapter 5-Thunderous slap

Justin looked at Jenna with a little bit of anger, deep down he thought it was her, he thought she finally came back to him but it wasn't her. "What are you doing here?" he asked his tone sounded a bit rough and rude

"We moved in" Jenna said with a smirk

Justin looked at his mother for answers and she smiled back at him, he looked back at Jenna then her family before he finally settled his eyes on Jenna's parents "Forgive my manners Mr and Mrs Walton" he said with a faint smile

Vanessa smiled at him before looking at his mother "Your son is quite the respectful one Mrs Moore" she said

"oh please just call me Daniella..I guess we should leave you all alone now, welcome to the neighborhood if you ever need anything don't be scared to reach out to me I'd love to be of help" Daniella said

They all thanked her and carried their luggages into their house, Jenna looked at the Moore's house next to theirs and sighed 'This is definitely going to be a long one' she said to herself before going in. Meanwhile Justin stood in his room upstairs looking down at the house he always loved to visit.

The house still looked the same except the people in it.

*Few days later*

Jenna woke up on Monday with smiles on her face

"You look happy today" Joe said as he watched his daughter sit at the table for breakfast

"Good morning dad, good morning mom"Jenna said smiling brightly, she even offered her father a cup of coffee

"What's up with the excitement?" Sydney asked curiously

"little miss perfect has a biology test today" Gloria said rolling her eyes as she sat down

"Don't you have better things to do with your life?"Gloria asked irritated by Jenna's cheerful attitude

"Hey watch your tone" Vanessa warned as she also joined them at the table

"Jenna I won't be dropping you off today"Vanessa said

"why?" Jenna asked

"I need to be at the hospital early" Vanessa explained

"Dad?"Jenna called out

"Not today sweetie, I already promised Gloria I would drop her off today" Joe said

"So what happens to the rest of us" Sydney asked

"I already explained to Daniella, she doesn't mind since everyone would be heading to the same direction " Vanessa said

"No no no..you can't put me in a car with that freak" Jenna said

"Why?" Sydney asked "I think he's cool andd besides we can't walk to school either.. don't you have a test at first period today?" Sydney asked

Jenna sighed "fine" she had no choice but to agree

*Few minutes later*

Jenna and Sydney stood out side their house when a Porsche macan stopped in front of them, the window slide down "Hop in" he said not even looking outside at them

Jenna took a deep breath 'its okay girl, it's just for today it's for today, after school you can walk back home with lizzy' she reminded herself before putting a smile on her face and got in

"Good morning " she greeted but her greetings were meant with silence, still she didn't let in ruin her mood.

Sydney look at the Justin who sat at the front,his eyes were looking at Jenna through the rear view mirror, she looked at Jenna who's eyes kept darting outside,she was sure if she felt her palms it would feel sweaty. "Are you okay?" Sydney whispered

"Yeah I am..thanks" Jenna smiled and looked outside, this little interaction didn't go unnoticed to Justin who just sat there and said nothing

The test was written and submitted and they waited in class to collect their results, Lizzy sat sat next to Jenna and couldn't stop laughing " why does your face looks so tense?" she asked Even though she knew the reason why

If it was before, Jenna wouldn't worry about what she would get in her test results because she knew she would still come out best but ever since Justin showed up, he's been frustrating her life and now she doesn't feel so confident about her results anymore

The teacher gave Lizzy and Jenna their results "I got a 72? damn I did great today..thanks to you" Lizzy smiled winking at Jenna but then noticed Jenna's face was loosing colour

" oh my God, Jenna are you okay? what did you get?" she asked worriedly but Jenna didn't answer she just stared at the paper with mixed emotions shock and anger. Lizzy impatiently collected the paper from her and smiled "you got a 99 it's not that bad" Lizzy said

"Not that bad?..what happened to the remaining f*****g one"Jenna asked

"omg, did you see Justin's results he got a 100" a girl sitting at the back of Jenna whispered to her seatmate but it was loud enough for Jenna to hear, Jenna's eyes dangerously looked at Justin who sat at the back of the middle roll, he looked at the paper with no emotion

Justin felt a chill run down his spine and when he looked up, he met a very murderous gaze, he smirked and mouthed to her "Bet you didn't expect it uh?"he raised the paper so high and turned it to the class but Jenna knew it was for her to see and behold written on the top side of the paper was a 100 and a teachers remark ", good job keep it up" Jenna's eyes turned bloodshot and before Lizzy could say anything a thunderous slap echoed in the classroom.

Everybody quickly turned their heads to where the sound came from, only to see Justin holding his cheek, his head turned to the other side cause of the slap, Jenna stood there ins shock, she looked at her hand which was still raised high 'what have you done?' she questioned herself in disbelief

"What is going on here?" the teacher's voice suddenly sounded from behind her, Jenna was so scared to even move, when Justin raised his head, he looked at Jenna with no emotion on his face but Jenna could feel the anger that radiated from him 'What mess have you gotten into?' she asked herself

"Jenna Walton! follow me..NOW!" the teacher roared snapping her back to reality, she turned around only to see the judgemental faces of everyone including Lizzy

"Why?" Lizzy mouthed to her
