Chapter 7-The dinner

In Jenna's room, she sat in front of her mirror looking at her reflection as Lizzy's voice came through the phone

"So remind me again where you met that hot chocolate boy that we saw earlier?" Lizzy asked

Jenna sighed "I already told you his name is Devon, and we met at summer camp when I was six after then we lost contact and I didn't hear from him again... until few hours ago" Jenna said

"wow, you're sure the lucky on this year" Lizzy praised

"And what does that mean?"

"First it was Justin and now it's a hot chocolate boy... I'm sorry what was his name? Devon?..girl you are soo lucky"

Jenna rolled her eyes "Whatever..I have to go get ready, my mom said Mrs Moore invited us for dinner tonight" Jenna said she looked at her hands , they were shaking

"You sure you need to go? after everything that happened today I'm not sure it's a good idea to walk into their house. it's like walking into the enemy's territory"Lizzy said

"I know but it's already an order from my mom and she's already pissed off about it I just have to go and maybe apologise later"

"Hmm, good call.. just be careful though..the rich can be assholes sometimes "Lizzy said

They talked for a few minutes before Jenna ended the call, she stared at the mirror for a while before taking a deep breath "it's just a dinner, apologise and then come home" she whispered

*The Moore's*

Daniella stared at her son's cheek and smiled

"I've barely spoken to her and I love her already"

"What?!" Justin yelled

"Shut up! I like her, she's feisty...you could use some changes by the way" Daniella said as she gave him a cup of tea

"What do you mean?"Justin asked

"Make her your girlfriend " Daniella said

"No, no, no!..the last thing I would need you to ask from me is to make her my girl... Never!" Justin yelled

"Stop shouting. Even if it doesn't have to be her find someone, have you checked the internet... everyone is gossiping about you, they keep talking about that goddamn photo of you and Amanda, they want to know who your girlfriend really is...share something" Daniella said

"We already broke up mom what do I need to share?"

"I warned you about that girl but you never listened if the both of you had just stayed home that night and kept things private such scandalous news wouldn't be our worries right now, your father needs you to clear the air as soon as possible and saying you broke up isn't an option..it is either you ask Jenna out and clear the air or you find another girl either way...you must have a girlfriend by the ned of the month...This is about your family's image don't chicken out now..better finish what you started " Daniella warned before walking out of the dining room

Justin looked at his mother's figure as she walked away, he gulped down the tea and dropped the cup angrily on the sink.
