Naya released a breath she had no idea she was holding. She couldn't believe Bryce actually came. She looked up to the sky as tears rolled down her cheeks.
“Thank you, Moon goddess.” She muttered to herself and glanced at Selene, who smiled at her in return.
The Alpha stood to his feet as he looked at Bryce. “How dare you commit such an abomination? How dare you lowly wolf call my daughter your mate!” He snapped, but Bryce didn't flinch.
After what Selene told him, he realized that she was right about him being a coward. He had worried too much about what others would think that he almost lost Naya. He realized just how much he would be doomed if he allowed this engagement to take place, and so before he came, he was prepared for whatever was going to be thrown at him.
