Mistakes are prof that you are trying.

And I looked at him staring at him dead in the eye.

“Go ahead” I told him.

And with that he shot me.

I wont say he shot me but the bullet hit the vase behind me and the bullet bruised my left hand.

Fuck it hurts like hell.

Big ups to all those who have taken an actual bullet or willing to take a bullet from someone.

And I pressed my hand on it preventing the flow of blood as I removed a handkerchief from my bag and tied it around my arm.

“You missed” I said not even looking at him.

“Why did you bring me here Mr.Gyldon” I said for the hundredth time.

“To collect my money” he said.

And Lucien moved away from me going back to his seat.

“You should have shot her” Meryl said.

“Which money” I asked.

“Your mom owns me money and she hasn’t paid for the last three months” he said taking a sip of his alcohol.

“So all this gathering and fuss was because you want me to return the debt my mom owns” I asked.

“Indeed” he said.

I scoff shaking my head.

“How much”

“A million” he said.

And I sat there for a while.

“What cat finally caught your tongue” Meryl said.

Does this girl never shut up.

“No I’m doing something you have never done before so I guess you wouldn’t know when someone is thinking” I told her.

“Where did you get this girl from” Lucien asked.

“She’s an intern in my hospital” Mateo asked.

And Lucien scoff.

“So you are just an intern and you come in my home talking like you own the earth” he said.

“Well yes” I said.

“Let her be a servant at the club where everyone can use her at least that is what is cost” Lucien replied.

“But…..”

“Enough!! I don’t like people who disrespect me she will stop working with you and go work at the club where she truly deserve to be until her debt are settled” he said again.

“Mr. Gyldon how come my mom owe you that kind of money” I asked.

“She doesn’t owe me she owes Lucien” he said.

“What happened” I said my attention facing to Lucien.

“You should go ask her” he said sternly.

“Please we are done playing games this is serious just tell me” I told him honestly.

“So you do know how to say please” Mateo said.

And I looked at him sternly.

“I don’t know how she came on my list all what I know is that she owes me and since she isn’t able to clear her debt you will do it” he said.

“And you will be coming with me to clear your debt” he added it.

“It was him” I said thinking deeply.

“That is why he left us he went in for the money and then place it under my moms name that is why she has been stressed lately it was him” I said to myself.

“What the heck are you talking about” Mateo said.

And I ignored him.

Gosh I hate him soo much after everything he did it wasn’t enough for him to leave us in debt to.

I thought my hands turn into fist.

“Get up and let’s go” Lucien grabbed me up and began walking out.

And I followed him.

I entered his car and we drove off as I called my mom.

“Hey mom” I said.

“Hey it’s late are you home now why are you calling me then” she said as I could feel she was sleeping.

“Uhm mom something came up at work and we have to go on a trip I don’t know when we’ll come but it is an emergency and I have to go” I said.

“Ooh but you should come home for your stuffs first dear” she said.

“Mom I will be fine like I said it’s an emergency I’ll text or call you when everything is settled” I said.

“Okay then take care” she said.

“Sure mom love you” I said and hanged up.

And I signed.

“There’s no point in lying” he said.

“There’s no point in talking” I said back.
