The atmosphere in the car not only looked gloomy but felt so gloom for Greg as he drove back to the mansion. Everywhere he looked, every song he played reminded him of his mother’s crimes and his betrayal towards his brother and that was enough to make him feel guilty.
“Argh!” An ache pushed against his heart and he gripped the steering wheel tightly with both hands, increasing his speed as he passed through an alley and bounced into a bumpy road where he came across a car accident.
Something weird clicked inside of him and he slowed down his car and silently watched the scene from afar. There was blood everywhere and the police were firing shots in the air, trying to get rid of the crowd that had gathered around the victim, screaming.
