Five days to the dinner party and the palace was buzzing with activity and anticipation, as preparations were made. Lissana had suggested they spend the day working in the garden with her, to escape the madness of the palace and a tired Claire who had to deal with frazzled maids and chefs bombarding and demanding her attention the moment she had stepped out of her room, readily agreed. Last night had been an unpleasant experience for the blonde woman who had had recurring nightmares about her 'daydream'.
