CHAPTER 18:
NANGINGINIG AKO SA takot. My eyes were blurry in tears and I couldn't see anything. I’m very scared, I thought that it was the end of me. What ifs came rushing into my mind. What if he r**e me, and then he kills me after doing horrible things to me? I don’t want to die yet. Marami pa akong pangarap sa buhay na gusto kong tuparin. I closed my eyes and continued pleading for mercy. Magkasalikop ang mga kamay ko habang nagmamakaawa.
“Please, Sir. I can give you how much money you want, just spare my life!”
“Sir, bilisan n’yo na po, akala ho nitong jowa mo, re-r**e-in ko siya.”
I immediately opened my eyes the moment I heard him talking. I saw him holding his phone and talking to someone behind the line. What the heck? Am I hearing it right?
