As my mate ushered me in to the house I knew he was not over what I had said earlier. I started to feel confused on why this was so hard for him, he knew what my position was and he knew I was to take over for my Uncle; why was he so upset? As I thought about it more I convinced myself that he had expected me to give up my life completely and just move in here and become his obedient little Luna. The idea of it started to make my blood boil. How dare he think that I was going to give up my whole life just because I had met him, this is why I didn't want a mate.
