Hayley POV As I wake up not really sure if I’m ready for another day as I am only fighting with my eyes to keep them open so I don’t fall asleep again. “Ugh” I sighed letting my feet to cold floor feeling a shiver down my spine. I quickly got up from my warm bed to go to the bathroom. Looking at myself in the mirror I could see my roots making a line between dark brow, almost black hair and my natural dark blond. My eyes staring back at myself with the deepest blue almost like the ocean’s colour was dipped in my eyes. I take my hair tie out and brush my hair then put it back up again in a high ponytail. It’s unusual to see me without a high ponytail, messy bun or half of my hair put up as I hate having my hair in my eyes when I’m at school. My morning routine isn’t very special since I usually just fix my hair, fixing my eyebrows an put on some mascara to not entirely dead. When I’m done getting ready to go, I stop in the mirror taking a myself. I’m wearing black tight jeans and a bright red hoodie and my sneakers. Well I’m not looking to bad, I say to myself before take out my phone to check the time. S**t! I’m late! Hayley!! Breakfast is ready, Mom yell from the kitchen. You’re going to be late. I grab my bag and run out of the door, down the stairs and in to the kitchen. When I’m standing in the doorway the smell hits me. “Egg and bacon!” I moan. I drop my bag and sit down with my eyes not leaving the plate with deliciousness. The other pack members are done eating and already gone. Im going to enjoy this before three hours of biology. “You know you don’t have time to just sit there and think?” Mom breaks my daydreaming looking at me with “the mom-look”. You know the look when you see it. “Yeah, I know but it’s just so good” I pout looking at her with my biggest puppy eyes. “You know those won’t work on me right now” she sigh at me. “Now get out of here” she says clapping her hands at me. I look at the clock on the wall seeing that it is 7:52. “S**t I have to go” I say while grabbing my bag running towards the door. On my way to school I take a little time to think through the next weeks. First , I have my 18 birthday and then I’m old enough to shift. Second, once I’m 18 I can meet my mate. “As that wasn’t stressful enough.” I sigh as I enter the school. I already can’t wait until lunch.
