It's been a month since Shion moved to Dark's house. He can go to work now but for only two days in a week. Dark is always working since he demanded so.
Today, Shion was alone again in the house, when a girl came.
She is now sitting in front of him and giving him a suspiscious look.
"What is your relationship to my big brother?"
Shion wince. She's intimidating indeed. just like Dark's mom when the first time she saw him.
"I am a friend of your brother."
He said awkwardly. The girl rolled her eyes on him. He wince.
'What the hell is her problem? I am not doing anything here.'
He said to himself.
The girl crossed her both legs and arms and glared at him.
"A friend huh? as far as I can remember ny brother will never make friends with a man."
"Hehehehe, what do you mean by that?"
The girl smirked at him.
"What I mean is that, my brother likes men."
He innocently look at the girl. He already know that.
"And?"
He asked.
"You know it?"
He nodded.
"Then you're no longer his friend."
He got silent. Yeah, he knows that. Kissing and touching each other is not a thing to do with a friend. They must be something more than a friend but he doesn't know what their label is.
"I see. I got you off guard didn't I"
Shion evaded her gaze.
"Hmmm... Do you know about his ex?"
Shion looks at the girl again. There is this annoying expression in her face.
"You didn't know. I bet you don't know a thing about my brother."
She got him.
'She's right. I didn't know a thing about Dark.'
"Let me tell you something about my brother,"
Shion didn't utter a word. He wants to know more things about Dark. It is because everytime that he's asking about some things about him, he end up being bullied.
"As you can see, Dark likes men and it is fine in our family. Our mom and dad, even our whole clan accepted whoever he is."
He smiled. that's a good news for him. but he doesn't know that he will end up like Dark. he doesn't know that he will like Dark so much. And he doesn't know what will be his family's reaction about it.
"But we end up being suspscious to anyone who will be with brother."
Her words got him confused.
"Why?"
"Easy, because his first boyfriend end up being a gold digger. A bitch."
Shion can see disgust and anger in her eyes.
"Brother is the only heir of our family business even though he's like that and because of that, he attracted many gold digger guys."
She then look at him with suspiscion in her eyes. Shion was taken aback.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
"We hate it when someone wants to be close with my brother just because of money. We don't want my brother to be like his old self again."
"I am not like his ex or anyone who wants to be with him because of his money."
"Oh really? I don't believe those who talk like that."
"Then I will prove to you that I am not like them."
Shion said with so much determination in his eyes. Dennise, Dark's sister somehow felt that she should believe him.
"Huh! Let me see then. I hope you're not like Vincent. I will keep an eye on you."
Shion is surely not like them, he's damn rich and the heir of a mafia family.
'But what is his old self like?'
"Dennise!"
They both look at the door.
'Why does Dark always appearing whenever there is a visitor like this?'
Shion thought.
"Brother! I am so sorry, it takes me a month before visiting you!"
'So Dennise is her name.'
"Why are you here? What did you tell him?"
"Hmmp! I just told him that you had a gold digger ex-boyfriend and hoping that he is not like him."
"You don't have the right to tell him that! He's not yet my boyfriend."
"Hmpt! Not yet?! meaning that you have a plan on making him yours."
Shion was just looking at Dark and Dennise.
"Apologize to him Dennise, he wil never be a gold digger."
"And how sure are you brother? Do you know him so well?"
Dark look at Shion for a while like seeking a permission for him to talk about him. Shion just smiled awkwardly.
"He will never be a gold digger because he's not like that. Besides, he is richer than us Dennise. The guy yo just accused to be a gold digger is the owner of the Moonlight Cafe and the heir of the Del Luna Mafia."
Dennise just looked at him with wide eyes and mouth open.
"Oh my god! Is that real?! You are the missing heir of that powerful mafia family?"
Shion hesitantly nodded.
"Okay, fine. I am sorry for accusing you but..."
Dennise looked at his brother.
"What have yuo done brother?!"
Shion got confused because of the sudden raise of her voice. While Dark just look at the other side.
"What's going on?"
Shion asked. Dennise look at him again.
"You're mafia is looking at you for a month now! they are hunting all of their enemies just to know whether they had you or not. they are elliminating all of their enemies. The big boss must be so upset that they couldn't find you."
Shion looks at Dark clueless.
"Stop it Dennise."
"What?! You plan on keeping him from his family? that means suicide brother!"
Shion stepped back. what she has said is true. keeping him means suicide. But why does Dark kept it from him? He looked at Dark.
"Hey, let me explain."
'Is it right to trust this guy?'
Today was full of information. too much information about Dark that he didn't know even after a month of staying with him.
And his family. Here comes another problem involvng his family. He doesn't want Dark and his family be in danger.
"Seth was right."
Shion said.
"What? Hey, I can explain okay?"
Shion look at Dark and smiled.
"I don't want you and your family be in danger because of me. Thank you for keeping me safe in a month, Dark. I owe you a lot but maybe it is time for us to stop."
"No way! That's non-sense Shion! I can withstand your family. We can get through this."
Shion smiled and shake his head. He stared at Dark for a while before running out of the house.
"Shion!"
"Stop it Dark! Let him be!"
"It is your fault!"
Dark went out of the house too. Dennise just heaves a sigh and sat down on the sofa.
"I am just keeping you out of danger brother. They are also looking after you."
