It had been four long and agonizing days since she left. It felt like my heart was beating slower with every day that passed. My body was aching, my head hurt, I felt numb and, well, sick. That wasn't normal. Liam was worried about me. Blake too. Even though my parents didn't know why, they had noticed the change in my behavior and aura. I felt like I had lost weight or something. Like my alpha powers were slowly fading away. This wasn't good. I couldn't help but wonder if this was how Ben felt when Josephine died many years ago. Was he feeling, like I do now, back then?
