Chapter 1 part 1. Malevolent chances

Do I have a chance to prove myself again? I've lost everything I've lost my

work I've got fired just because I outsmarted our ceo and my childhood friend and my girlfriend Olivia cheated on me with a sugar daddy, I lived with my friends for the meantime until I can find work to feed myself, the dream I always have is me with bunch of people at the forest looking for an escape and I was the only one who survived sleepless nights and sweat days I've bare. my resume always declined, walk miles just to survive.

I wore my white t-shirt with a pair of striped blouse, wore my dirty skinny pants and a pair of Nike sneakers he didn't let me borrow his suit so I'll walk in the office with casual clothing, I bought ice cream in waffles, a Starbucks drinks since I have 300 dollar plus with me and I'll think it's enough till I find a work done. I took a rest at the park and waited 23 more minutes until the company that I applied to will call me since I have my friend Delilah there I know that she can help me, I've waited for almost 1 hour and I didn't receive anything from my phone did she turned down on me? I hope not.

Felt a warm hands in my shoulder it was Delilah who seems running late on something,"jack I'm sorry I'm late" I can't show how frustrated am I and I can feel the reason why the company I've worked to fired me on the spot of making money, "no it's ok sit down" she sat beside me and I can't feel the good news in her "let me guess they didn't accept me" she was silent but looking at me with a sad face "jack I- I'm sorry they heard about how ill-tempered you are and I did convince them a many times but they didn't bite the Bait" I know my ill-tempered is what makes me miserable now, and I appreciate her work on my account she was the one who were always there for me not oliva used me for money. her phone beep two times in a row and had to question her about it "you got a boy to go? Huh Lili?" I called her lili, we've been friends since 4th grade and until we're grown ups, "no my co worker send me the link of this WIC COMPANY it's like answering survey's online and you'll get mid bucks money, but it's a fortune for her cause she won the challenge and got on a trip in this secret resort a hundred mile away from us so I figure out why not try? "she showed me the picture of the other people who tried the link and

got on a 2 week vacation in" the triumph? Hundred mile away from us it says a helicopter will pick us up says there is no exceptions you are all a VIP in my resort. Felt sketchy but she liked it.

"nah I'm not gonna let you go there alone send me the link and I'll answer it"

I got home about 8 pm and opened my pc, signed my telegram in and opened the link, "the triumph, answer few of the question's and if you get it right you'll win a 2 week vacation" I don't know if this is a scam or not but the feedbacks people gave here is 50/50 good and awesome. The first page is about history I am not into history but I'll try I don't want her to go alone I've promised her father that I'll take care of her and I won't never let him down. to my surprise

I've got all the answer right the next level is about chemistry science probably, since I dreamed to be a scientist and got all my high school quizzes perfect, I tried to answer it clearly without disturbing thoughts. I've finished the questions and received the email about my answers being reviewed by the Admin.

I went to my room and sleep peacefully,

i turned on my ac and it was cold I admit

I feel like I was in a middle of the ocean.

Until I hear distorted voices, I began to feel lightheaded and dizzy.

An hour later the bell rang, Jack woke up as possible and stretched his arms from behind, "Ben can I borrow you're" he fell down on a swimming pool, he was wide awake he found himself in a strange place, here bag and clothes are still in his bed but his not on his house anymore.

"where the hell am I?" he examined the place and found 10 people gathering at a bonfire, he saw Delilah and waved she didn't feel strange but happy. "I won, and you too I can believe it" he can't really believe it their were 4 women 2 teenage and 2 grown ups, and 6 males both from their 20's. they were celebrating. He decided to stick to Delilah and watched the environment around them he found the entrance and he was out of nowhere

only 2 helicopters and sea he see's. He saw the log with the logo of The triumph

by the WIC company. he began to act crazy and shouted for help, Delilah stopped him, "hey I know this is crazy, but today is you're lucky day you'll get to hang out with me out of the city! Come one let's go party and don't act all paranoid will you come".

I found my self in the middle of nowhere

Delilah is with me, and I know that I won but something doesn't sit right with me

why do I feel scared at first? And how do they get my address? I didn't even gave them only the answers. what am I doing wrong? Should I be happy about this? Or I'll grief about it.
