13 Bright sunlight forced Gwen awake. With a muffled groan, she rolled deeper into her pillow. No matter what the alarm clock said, it was too early to be awake! Mitch was already gone. She vaguely remembered feeling him move sometime in the misty hour before dawn. He’d answered her sleepy murmur with a gentle kiss and the promise to share breakfast with her.
