~ TESS ~ My throat tightens when I see the vampire attack the honey-brown wolf from behind. I try to scream a warning, but a gasp comes out instead. Then, all of a sudden, another large dark-blue wolf rushes by. It’s larger than the other wolves in my living room, almost double in size. The vampire, who had been about to attack the honey-brown wolf, doesn’t make it as the dark-blue wolf snarls and launches for the vampire, knocking it out the battered window. At the sudden crash, the honey-brown wolf bares its teeth and lifts its eyes to glare out the window. Oh, God. I know those eyes. I’ve gazed into them since I was a child.
