I slump against Ronan’s back as pure fire races through me. Energy pours from his skin and seeps into mine, calming me even while ordering me to relax. I try to grasp his shoulders so I can steady myself, but every fiber of my being tells me to relent and do exactly as he says.
Both packs immediately comply and stop in place. A few sway, as though they too feel the strength of will behind the commands from their Alphas. The growls don’t stop, but at least they aren’t fighting.
"Do it," Ronan retorts, the muscles in his shoulders flexing as I lean against him. A steady vibration emits from him—the pure and unadulterated energy created by his wolf—and it pours into me. Oddly, the sensation soothes rather than jolts me, becoming the anchor I desperately need. "Seal the mating."
