Eve had nightmares constantly about the abuse she endured while in captivity. So many nights, I screamed in anger in the solitude of my own space. Kyle should have been dealt a harsher punishment for everything he had done to Eve, but the day I told her he was no longer a threat, so much anxiety left her. She still jumped at things, but it wasn’t as severe as it was before.
My dad and Hera were supportive of Eve. Hera especially. Eve loved getting to see and spend time with Anna. That was her favorite auntie.
Eve was eventually able to return to work. Due to the terror she experienced in Philly, she allowed Carla to take over her Philly property and only visited when necessary. She was able to obtain her license in Arizona and opened a firm here.
