Richard eyed their entwined hands with anger and a bit of disappointment in his eyes, Rhea started to feel uncomfortable under his gaze.
"I didn't know a short walk took a whole day," he said and his voice annoyed Rhea, she hated it when he acted like her father or even her husband, he was neither.
"And I didn't know I had to answer you," she said, walking into the house, still holding Jason's hand.
"So this is it Rhea, he comes and apologizes and you forget that you have a son," he accused and she felt so vexed, he wasn't in her mind and he had no right to judge her.
"We have talked about this Richard," she said referring to when they agreed that they couldn't have anything together, she thought he was okay with it but he was clearly not.
