Ryker's POV:
"Your f*****g detective is going to get my daughter killed!" I shouted at Detective Thomas as I walked into the bedroom that had all of his computers and men.
"At least he's doing his job! Your daughter is doing nothing but keeping her distance from Xavier! He's never going to take her to the places we need him to for her to get what we need if she keeps her distance!" He yelled at me.
My fist came up and hit him hard in the face, sending him back a few steps. A few of the detectives stood up and pulled their weapons and pointed them at me.
"My daughter is doing what is necessary to keep Xavier's hands out of her pants which is all he seems to have wanted from the beginning in all of this. She is doing what needs to be done to get where she needs to be. He's obviously not
