Chapter 6

Ravyn's POV: I get up from my bed about an hour after my dad left and walked into the bathroom to take a look at my piercings. My n*****s were still rather tender so I carefully removed my top and took a look at them. There was some blood smeared on my breasts along with on my crop top. I'm thinking I'm going to probably need to use those nursing pads for a while until the bleeding stops. I pushed my skirt the rest of the way off of me to check the bandages on my inner thigh. The bandage on my tattoo will have to stay for at least a few days to keep the bacteria out of it. My belly ring seemed to look okay and hadn't bled any. Probably because I didn't have any fabric rubbing on it. I walked out of my bathroom and into my closet to grab one of my black sports bras and put that on. The pressure of the bra helped with the tenderness. I was even feeling pain inside my breast which I hope goes away. I hope I don't have any nerve pain from this. I'd hate to have to get rid of the piercings. I loved the way they looked and couldn't wait to someday have a man play with them. I grabbed a dark pink halter top and slipped that on over my sports bra. It pushed my breasts together, giving me nice cleavage and support to keep my breasts from moving too much with the fresh piercings. I grabbed one of my skirts that zipped in the back that wouldn't be too tight on my fresh tattoo and sat just low enough to not touch my belly ring. I'm going to have to be careful how I dress for a few weeks or more. I grabbed a pair of three-inch black open-toed heels with a strap that wrapped around my ankle and slipped them on. I walked over and grabbed my purse, reminding me that I didn't have my phone which just pissed me off even more. I threw it over my shoulder and walked out of my bedroom. I wasn't even going to bother saying anything to my mom. I don't know if she would try to stop me or not. I guess it just depends if my dad told her to keep me home. She's usually out back relaxing by the pool anyway. I walked into the hallway and looked to see if I saw her but I didn't. The only thing I saw was the baby's room door was open about a foot. I walked quietly down the hallway to the room and peeked in. Mom was rocking in the rocking chair holding a picture frame. She never talks about what happened. I think it still breaks her heart and talking about it just hurts her so she doesn't. I took it as my cue to leave so I headed down the hallway to the entrance. I quickly went down the steps and out the front door. "You're father said you weren't going anywhere." I heard as my arm was grabbed and pulled back, almost making me lose my footing in these heels. "What the f**k, Leroy!" I shouted at him as he pulled me back into the house and let go of my arm. "You aren't going anywhere." He told me again as he walked out of the house and shut the door. "Well f**k!" I yelled at myself softly. Sneaking out during the day is next to impossible! Ugh! I was pissed! I turned around in the entrance to think of how I was going to get out of here. Dammit! The guards are everywhere plus they can see farther because the sun hasn't gone down. I have to get out before dad gets home. I'll never get away if he was home. I run back up the steps and quietly walk through the house to not alert mom. I head to the balcony that overlooks the small creek that goes around the side of the house. I guess at one time there used to be a bridge here that went across to a building where the servants lived. That was long before I was born. My older twin sisters remember it but they are the only ones that ever saw it out of us kids. Now it's just this balcony with a spiral staircase that takes you down and then there's a bridge that can take you over the small body of water. I carefully go down the steps and then walk casually over the bridge. Maybe if I look casual enough, no one will realize what I was doing. I won't be able to go through the front gate like I normally do during the day because I imagine, if the front door guards were told I had to stay home, they probably know too. "Ravyn!" I heard someone shouting my name when I reached the end of the bridge. I looked and saw two of the guards walking in my direction. I just waved at them as if I was saying hi and continued to walk away from them. "Ravyn! Stop!" They shouted. I looked back and saw that they had picked up their walking speed. I quickly reached down and slipped my shoes off and took off running through the yard. I didn't have to look behind me to know that they were hot on my trail, I could hear them. I reached the perimeter fence within seconds after my run. I glanced back and saw that they weren't that far away from me so I said the heck with trying to get my shoes back on to go over the gate. I tossed them over the eight-foot gate and started to climb. It was rather painful on my feet but I was determined to get over the fence! "Ravyn! We have orders to keep you from leaving!" I heard one of them shout. I didn't care about tripping the wire at the top of the fence, my dad will know soon enough that I'd left if he wasn't alerted already. I felt one of them grab my leg and I quickly turned and took my foot and kicked them hard in the face. "Ravyn!" The other one shouted as he took the last few steps closer to me but by this time I was already putting my foot over the fence and was too high for him to reach me. They started talking on their mics to the rest of the guards, alerting them that I have left the perimeter. I wouldn't be surprised if that meant they were going to come looking for me to bring me back. That just means I need to get out of here, quickly! I carefully took the last few steps down and dropped the remaining feet to the ground. I quickly picked up my shoes, not bothering to put them on quite yet. I will be able to run faster without them on until I get farther away from the estate. "Tell dad I will see him later!" I called over my shoulder at them as I took off down the sidewalk towards town. I got to the block and started to put my shoes back on when I heard the voices of men, a lot of men. I looked behind me and there were several running down the sidewalk after me. "s**t!" I hissed to myself. Just as I was getting ready to pull my shoes back off, the sounds of a motorcycle came up next to me on the sidewalk. "Get on!" I heard him yell as I looked over at him. "Simon?" I asked even though I knew it was him. "Either them? Or me?" He asked as I looked back at the guards who were barely 20 feet from me. "Ravyn! Stop! Now!" One of them shouted. I didn't think twice about it. I threw my leg over the bike behind Simon and he took off immediately after down the street. --- I leaned forward and laid my head on Simon's back with my arms around his body as he drove down the highway, away from my father's estate. I didn't know where he was taking me but I really didn't care to be honest. Anywhere right now than that prison! "Where do you want to go?" I heard him ask as he turned his head slightly in my direction so I could hear him. I lifted my head and leaned in close to his ear so he could hear me. "Anywhere," I told him and he just nodded. We drove for over 30 minutes, just cruising. We drove the highways, the streets of the town, just all over before he finally turned onto a street that took you back to the park and parked the bike. "Any particular reason why we are here?" I asked as we got off the bike. "No reason." He told me with a shrug of the shoulders. "So why were you running from your house?" He asked me as we walked down one of the paths through the trees and around the park. "No reason," I told him and he just laughed. "It's never not a reason with you, Ray." He told me and I just shrugged. "I needed to go to the store and my dad apparently told all the security to keep me from leaving," I told him as if it was normal and an everyday occurrence. "Why would you be on lockdown? What did you do to piss him off this time?" He asked me. "Probably because I got another tattoo without his permission. You know how he is. He must have control, over everything and he hates the fact that he can't control me." I told him and he stopped walking, causing me to stop with him as he looked down at me. "I don't think that's the problem." He told me and I just shook my head. "Yeah, it is. None of my other siblings were locked up in the house and told they couldn't leave. He only treats me like this." I told him as I turned away from him and started to walk. "And yet you seem to forget about everything you did in the past. Everything you put them through and still put them through. You don't think any of that has anything to do with the fact that he pulls the rope tighter with you?" He asked as he chuckled. "Hmm, maybe a little," I told him as a smile started to form on my lips. "You like the attention you get." He told me. "What? I don't think so! I hate how he treats me." I said as I quickly turned to look at him. "Yes, you do. You forget that we used to be in school together. I remember how you were, and still are." He told me. "Yeah, don't remind me of that because all that's going to do is piss me off because you're the reason why I got kicked out of the last school," I told him and shoved his shoulder, causing him to take a step back. "Yeah, well, if I would've known it was going to get you kicked out and then you'd hate me for the rest of my life, I wouldn't have done it." He told me and I stopped walking and turned to look up at him. "Like that makes it any better. You still shouldn't have ratted me out like that. Besides, I don't hate you. Just pissed off at you for eternity." I told him seriously. "Besides, it's not like we got along in school anyway." I continued. "That's because I was scared of you." He told me and laughed. "Then why do you keep showing up?" I asked him and he smiled. He quickly came down and captured my lips. I was taken by surprise by the kiss and didn't move immediately after contact. By the time I realized what had just happened, his lips had already moved a few times to try to continue the kiss. I took my hands and shoved him away from me, forcing him to step back and have a shocked look on his face. "What the f**k, Simon!" I shouted at him as I took the back of my hand and wiped my mouth while I walked away from him. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have." He told me as he walked quickly next to me to catch back up. "No, you shouldn't have," I told him as I glared at him. "I just thought it was the right time to take the chance. We were actually talking and getting along," He told me. "That doesn't mean you kiss me," I told him as I continued to walk down the trail at a fast pace. "I know, I'm sorry. I just like you, Ray, always have. Even in school which added to my fear that I had of you that contributed to my lack of bravery to approach you." He told me and I glanced at him over my shoulder. "Well, don't. You don't want a girl like me." I told him and he looked a little confused. "Why not?" He asked and I stopped to look at him again. "Just, because. You don't want someone like me. You deserve that good girl who gets good grades and goes to college, one that will treat you right. That girl who likes to play house and be a wife and take care of the kids. Not me who has a track record with the authorities that is longer than she is tall. Someone who apparently sucks at taking orders." I told him as we headed back to his bike. "Look, I don't really want to talk about it. Can you just take me to a market? I need to get a few things." I told him. "Yeah, I can do that." He told me and I gave him a smile just before we got back on the bike to head back into town.
