I glared up into Xavier's eyes as he glared into mine. His jaw was tense and clenching tight against his teeth. I could see the muscles in his jaw tightening as the anger flooded his body.
"If I want to kiss you, regardless of what I did prior, I will get a kiss. Do you understand?" He growled deep through his clenched teeth.
"As long as you understand that if you hit me again, I won't go easy on you the next time." I snapped at him as he chuckled deeply as if he didn't believe me and felt that I was joking.
"Think all you want, sweetheart, but if you ever hit me again, I also will not go easy on you the next time." He snapped at me as his smile faded from his lips.
