It had been a few weeks of training. He left exhausted every day, Evander carrying him to the car most days. Okino continued to promise to take him to Charon and he was beginning to think he wasn’t going to get to see him. It made him second guess some of Okino’s words but he continued to give a smile and promise more every meeting. He’d managed to figure out more weapons, he now had a knife, a crossbow and a whip.
