I'm finally feeling better, better than I've felt in days. The fact that Charlie agreed to eat the food I prepared was a major relief. I had been concerned that he might have been starving himself for some reason, perhaps thinking my cooking was subpar. Knowing that his father has checked on him and found him in good health is reassuring. Our interaction was minimal, mostly focused on the exchange of food and plates, but the overall outcome left me feeling content.
