Rodaba sat across from Shaheer in the cafeteria, her eyes flickering with concern as she watched him toy with his food.
"Shaheer, you seem distant today. Is everything alright?" she asked, reaching out to touch his hand gently.
Shaheer sighed, his gaze dropping to the table. "I've been thinking a lot lately, Rodaba. I've decided to change my department from business to medical."
Rodaba's eyes widened in surprise. "Medical? But why? You've always been so passionate about business."
Shaheer nodded slowly. "I know, but I've realized that my true calling lies in medicine. I've always had a knack for it, and I want to pursue it wholeheartedly."
Rodaba smiled, squeezing his hand in encouragement. "Then go for it, Shaheer. Follow your heart and do what makes you happy."
As Shaheer's decision sank in, Rodaba couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness. "But what about us? With you in medical and me still in business, we'll have classes separately now."
Shaheer's expression softened, and he reached across the table to brush a stray hair from her face. "Don't worry, Rodaba. We'll still find time for each other. And hey, I'll make sure to bring you flowers to brighten your day."
Rodaba's heart skipped a beat at his words, a blush creeping onto her cheeks. "You... you don't have to do that, Shaheer."
But Shaheer simply smiled, his eyes sparkling with warmth. "I want to, Rodaba. It's the least I can do for someone as amazing as you."
Meanwhile, Sameer, Falak, and Sahil observed the exchange from their table, amused expressions on their faces.
"Looks like Shaheer and Rodaba are getting closer," Sameer remarked with a grin.
Falak nudged him gently. "Let them be, Sameer. They deserve their moment."
As Sahil watched Shaheer and Rodaba with a wistful smile, his mind wandered to his own feelings for Falak. Lost in his thoughts, he barely noticed when Sameer jolted him back to reality.
"Hey, Sahil, you're daydreaming again," Sameer teased, unaware of Sahil's inner turmoil.
