Chapter 72.5 (Extra Chapter)
Prince Yi Eul is already tired.
Prince Yi Eul stared at his date who’s now babbling things he didn’t actually give a single f**k. He was set on a blind date to one of the nobles’ daughters under his royal family ancestors’ regime which Queen Jang Eun was the one who actually set it up the moment he finally went home to Korea. In all honesty, he didn’t want to attend these dates like this. He usually ditched these because first, he’s not interested in girls, and second, blind dates are such a pain on the neck and a waste of time.
Well, he’s only interested in one girl, and that’s all that matters to him.
He was actually want to ditch this date but he was forced to have a date with this girl who looked like a goddamn Barbie doll who applied too much makeup on her face. Queen Jang Eun’s words are absolute, so he couldn’t just defy her.
What the f*****g f**k indeed.”
“I was really happy to spend time with you today, Your Highness,” his date giggled. “This day is so special because I get to spend my time with the great Crown Prince Yi Eul.”
Prince Yi Eul just stared at her, bored.
“I’ll be honest with you, Your Highness. I know this is too quick for the both of us but I, I really, really like you, Your Highness,” the girl smiled warmly at him. “That’s why I am so happy when I got a date from you since there are rumors that you’re not interested in girls. I felt so special.”
“Oh, don’t be,” he said casually, making the girl paused.
“What?”
“Cha Hee Na,” his eyes finally settled on his date. “In all honesty, being with you here… is such a waste of time and a pain on my neck.”
“P-Pardon? What did you just say, Your Highness?” the girl named Hee Na asked, obviously flabbergasted on the Crown Prince’s response.
“Sorry to burst your bubble but this date is such a waste of my time, hate to break it to you but this is not a romantic blind date that you expect it to be. Her Majesty is the one who set this up. This is just pure business, just according to her orders,” he said nonchalantly. “Hate to break it to you again but you’re just not my type. You ain’t it.”
“What did you just say?!” offended, Hee Na’s eyes widen and she abruptly stood up as she held the glass of water and was about to splash it on Prince Yi Eul’s face. You—”
Before Hee Na could even throw some water on Prince Yi Eul’s face, Prince Yi Eul already threw a whole glass of wine on her, making her gasp and look at him in shock.
“You’re facing the last and current Crown Prince of South Korea. You don’t have the right to touch me nor throw me some water, you filthy woman,” Prince Yi Eul stood up and as soon as he did it, Do Wan entered and put an overcoat over his shoulder. His secretary, Secretary Jeong handed him his bank checkbook/pad and after he signed one of the checks, he threw it in front of Hee Na. “For your shopping for new clothes.”
He didn’t wait for her to speak as he went out of the restaurant they’re staying in.
“Your Highness, you need to go to your next appointment. The officials are already waiting for you there,” Secretary Jeong told him as he walked side by side with the Crown Prince.
“Tell them to get ready, then.”
“Yes, Your Highness.”
“His Highness, Prince Yi Eul is here.”
Crown Prince Yi Eul felt all the eyes and attention on him. He entered Gyeokbokgung Palace wearing the elegant and expensive Imperial traditional garment intended for a Crown Prince. He couldn’t help but smirk as he stared coldly at the people in front of him who were shamelessly ogling at him.
Suddenly, all of the reporters were now pushing each other just to go to the front row to have a chance to interview him.
“Move!”
“Set aside!”
“Move to the side, fella!”
“Seja-jeonha, how are you?” one of the high-ranking officials asked.
Crown Prince Prince smirked as he slightly caressed his chin. “Still perfect than the fellas around me.”
That made the other girl reporters and guests giggle.
“You really are, Your Highness,” one of the high-ranking officials chuckled.
Huh, two-faced bastard. Prince Yi Eul couldn’t help but comment.
“Shall we go to your seat, Your Highness?”
Prince Yi Eul nodded. “Gladly.”
As soon as he passed by some people watching him, someone abruptly outstretched her hand to the Crown Prince who’s now looking at her blankly.
He looked at her from toe to head and managed to look at her identification card and media pass.
Kim Jae Kyung
Journalist, THE SEOUL TIMES
MEDIA
Huh. A Journalist who loves to meddle and stick their noses on someone’s business. They’re so annoying as well.
S-Seja-jeonha, how are you feeling that you finally came back here in Korea after years?” he could see how the girl’s hand tremble in so much nervousness but still managed to ask him.
Suddenly, a crazy idea popped into his mind.
Let me annoy this filthy journalist as well.
The Crown Prince stared at her coldly as he smirked. “Nothing special, just like talking to a petty journalist like you who has nothing to do in life but invading someone’s privacy.”
Jae Kyung's mouth was once again ajar as she frowned while looking at the Crown Prince’s cold expression.
He smirked, felt triumphant on how he caught the journalist off guard. Huh, got ya.
Suddenly, the journalist named Jae Kyung smiled at him. “This is just pure job and duty, Your Highness. Nothing personal.”
Jae Kyung pulled out from the kiss, panting. They stared at each other’s drunken eyes and flushed faces. Prince Yi Eul was trying to catch her lips but she abruptly covered his lips which made him bite her finger instead.
“Let me breathe… just let me breathe for a sec…”
“You said…” Prince Yi Eul muttered. “This is just pure job and duty. It’s nothing personal…”
“You freaking remembered that?”
“And I f*****g hate you as well.”
“You’re not the one who’s hating her, you idiot.”
“But why… why do I have this urge of holding you like this and kiss you?”
They stared into each other’s drunken eyes once again and they simultaneously leaned to each other’s faces and devouring each other’s lips as if they’re lovers, hungry for each other.
“Why are you asking like you’ll gonna make me fall for you?”
“Why? Are you willing to take the risk?”
“I hate you, why would I?”
“Yeah, I hate you too.”
“But not as much as you do…”
