As soon as Jae Kyung went inside of her room to change her clothes, she saw Prince Yi Eul holding an open cup of strawberry milkshake and he looked so shocked when he saw her. Her eyes fixed on her laptop which was drained with liquid which she suspected as the strawberry milkshake that the Crown Prince was holding.
“I—”
“What the f**k?!” she hollered as the anger slowly invaded her system. “What the f**k did you just do?!”
She rushed to her table and saw how soaked her laptop was because of the strawberry milkshake. She didn’t even realize that she cursed on his face because she was too shocked to even think about manners at this moment.
Enraged, she looked at Prince Yi Eul with shock and hurt written on her face. “What are you doing here and what did you do?!”
It was an accident. I didn’t do it on purpose.
Prince Yi Eul was obviously lost for words. He looked much shocked than Jae Kyung as well. He actually thought about what he’ll going to say to Jae Kyung but instead of telling her what’s on his mind, he actually said the opposite. “It’s your fault that you left your laptop in an open space like this! And why are you raising your voice like that to me? Is it broken? Then we can buy a new one!”
Before he even took what he said back, Jae Kyung spoke.
“I understand that this is your house and you can do whatever you want here and you have money to buy anything that you want and you please but...” Jae Kyung looked at him with tears in her eyes that the Crown Prince just stared at her. “You have no right to do something like this just because you’re mad at me on something I wasn’t even aware that I did to you. I may be your employee but that doesn’t give you the right to do this kind of thing to me. You have no f*****g idea of how important and valuable my laptop is for me. You asked how much is that?” she asked with her teeth gritting and in anger dripping in her voice, she pushed him even though she was aware that the Crown Prince is much stronger than her. “It was priceless! Your money and your riches can’t even buy it, you f*****g arrogant of a prince!”
She didn’t wait for the Crown Prince to breathe a word and she just went out of her room without looking back at him.
Good thing she actually had extra clothes in Hae In’s apartment (which was her past shared apartment unit as well, by the way) that she managed to change her clothes. After what happened earlier, she just went straight out of the house that she even forgot to change her clothes.
Do Wan was the one who actually insisted to escort her to the House of Yi for her private class since she actually pushed Prince Yi Eul’s guards away and forced them not to follow her. At first, she actually didn’t want him to escort her but he insisted that she totally forgot how he managed to convince her to let him come with her.
That’s how her day went—she attended her private class with the royal teacher that Queen Jang Eun assigned her, some lady-like or princess-like training that Queen Jang Eun actually gave her, and so on and so on.
She actually changed her schedules with Prince Yi Eul earlier (which she actually thank herself for doing so) so in the way, they will not going to cross paths with each other. Especially when that incident happened earlier.
Notice to all my followers and readers:
Hello, everyone. This is Snow Moon.
I just want to inform you that I might have a very long hiatus as of this moment because my laptop actually damaged because of such an unfortunate accident which I didn’t really expect to happen. I’ll try my very best to let it get fixed as soon as possible and I could update my stories as well. I know you waited a lot so I’ll work hard my best on my updates the soonest.
Thank you for your patience, I love you all.
Jae Kyung couldn’t help but sigh as soon as she put her phone down. She was wearing a green dangui and a scarlet seuran chima. Her hair was fixed in jjeokjin meorin in which the hair is brought back and tied into a bun. A long hairpin which was shaped in phoenix which is bongjam was used to fasten the bun.
Of course, it wasn’t necessary for her to wear this anymore since it’s already six in the evening and her class already finished but she’s already tired to change her clothes so she decided to go home wearing her hanbok.
She actually felt sad after posting such notice because yes, she’ll going to admit that she’ll be going to miss updating her stories, especially ‘Dealing Prince Arrogant’ because she couldn’t guarantee if her laptop will get fixed.
Right, I didn’t even manage to read the reply from that publishing.
She couldn’t help but sigh. “Maybe I’ll just do it on my phone later. I’m too nervous to even open my sss app."
And instead of apologizing to me, he still had the audacity to get mad at me. That prince, I can’t with him anymore. If he only apologized to me for ruining my laptop then I won’t get annoyed like this.
“I seriously want to quit on my job right now,” she murmured.
“Are you saying something, Your Highness?” she snapped back to reality when she heard Do Wan’s voice. He was now looking at her from the rear-view mirror, trying to check up on her.
“Huh? Ah, no. I didn’t say anything,” she responded, waving her hand to dismiss his query.
“Ah, I forgot to ask you, Your Highness. Did you like that strawberry milkshake?” Do Wan asked.
“What strawberry milkshake?” she asked.
Wait, does he mean the strawberry milkshake that that phony prince poured onto my laptop and destroyed it?
“Prince Yi Eul actually asked me to teach him how to make one for you,” Do Wan responded to her and chuckled. “My mom actually owned a coffee shop and one of her best sellers is the strawberry milkshake. I actually knew how to do it so Prince Yi Eul asked me to teach him how to do it last time because he actually wanted to make one for you. He actually said that you like strawberry milkshake so much.”
Yes, I did... Jae Kyung couldn’t help but stare at him in awe.
“I hope that went well. He actually spent almost four days mastering the recipe. This is actually the first time Prince Yi Eul tried to go hands-on on food so I hope you liked it, Your Highness.”
Jae Kyung fell in total silence for a moment before she averted her eyes on the car’s window.
As soon as the front door opened, Prince Yi Eul flinched that he almost jumped from his seat as he stood up. He saw Jae Kyung entering the house with Do Wan which actually made him frown. He was actually want to ask Do Wan but the latter just bowed his head and exited, as well as the servants around them.
“U-Umm, hey... umm... ha-have you eaten?” he asked.
That’s actually new for Jae Kyung to hear the Crown Prince stutter but she still managed to respond to her. “Yes, I did. Her Majesty actually asked me to have dinner with her.”
“Ah, right. Halma-mama did that,” he said, rubbing his nape.
“Is that all you’re going to say to me?” she asked him.
“It’s not like I’m concerned to you or whatever you do. I’m heading upstairs. Bye,” Prince Yi Eul hurriedly turned his back but before he could even leave, Jae Kyung asked him.
“What’s in your hand? That looks heavy,” she told him.
They actually fell into silence by that. It actually took Prince Yi Eul half a minute to speak again. He moved sideways without looking at her then gave her the huge shopping bag he’s holding. “Take it.”
Jae Kyung stared at him for a while then averted her gaze to the shopping bag before accepting it. She peeked at it and realized it’s her laptop.
Wait, it’s not really her laptop.
It’s more like a new laptop but identical to hers. Like an exact replica.
“I...” Prince Yi Eul trailed off. “I did everything I could to fix your laptop back that I even hired anyone to fix it but they couldn’t fix it anymore. Good thing, the hard drive of your laptop wasn’t damaged so they managed to take it out. I couldn’t manage to fix your laptop anymore so I looked all over the shops in Seoul and even online to find the same brand and replica of your laptop and fortunately, I found one online and they managed to deliver it on time. I didn’t expect that your laptop is so cheap though and I actually want to buy an expensive one for you like Macbook and stuff but you said, your laptop is priceless so I just bought it.”
Jae Kyung was staring at him in awe. She’s actually aware that the Crown Prince has so many sides on him but discovering those little by little made her happy for an unknown reason.
She couldn’t help but chuckle that the Crown Prince looked at her in an annoyed face. “What? Did I say something wrong?”
She stopped chuckling and smiled at him. “Honestly, I still don’t know how to deal with you, Crown Prince Yi Eul. But you can teach me how so I could understand you even more.”
