Mystery of Rainbow Rose

CHAPTER-4

Sonia's Point of View 

 I was waiting for Anira and Sahana , I was a bit anxious , I knew it already that Anira did not believe in any fantasy story and moreover, what I was telling them was heard to believe even if someone telling me this then I would not believe in it too. 

 But I saw the description of that mysterious flower myself in the diary of my grandfather, my grandfather also strictly  believed in science till his last breath but he wrote in his diary that he himself saw the mysterious 'rainbow rose' and the description of that mysterious flower was something unusual , it was something neither I heard before nor I saw any flower like that.

 All I wanted to fulfill my grand father's last wish written in his diary where, he wrote that he wanted to find 'rainbow rose' for well being of mankind if it possesses the power of immortality then it could help mankind a lot. 

So, I was thinking to organize an adventurous trip like my grandfather and wanted to find the 'rainbow rose' and wanted to unveil the mystery of it.

 I just hoped that Anira would believe in what was written in the diary and would agree to join me in the adventure trip. Together we would unveil the mystery of ' rainbow rose'.

  Few Hours Later 

  Anira's point of view 

 At afternoon we had a meeting again in the drawing room and Sonia held her grandfather's diary in her hand.  

 Sonia handed over the diary to Sahana and said " ' Doll' please open the bookmarked page and read it for us. " 

 Sahana carefully opened the page and looked at both of our faces then she took a deep breath and started to read the page of the diary written by Sonia's grandfather Oliver ;- 

  " Today is a mixture of bad day and good day for me.... Today I saw that mysterious ' rainbow rose'. 

  That mysterious flower which I was searching for so long and I knew about that flower by one of the  secret tribe of the sss forest,...

 The head of the tribe informed me that  this flower posses the power  of immortality . I do not believe him at all  as these tribes believe in a lot of prejudices and fantasy   but I   was curious about the flower if it is really possess the power of immortality or if it has some medicinal   properties which  elongate the life span of human, then it could be a great  discovery for mankind. 

I am a  historian , I was already part of few  adventure trip and some of them were successful  and we actually found  some ruin and some of  the ruin had great historical importance but this time this adventure trip is really  different , I need some scientist here and this time I do not expect any help from government authority  because no one will believe in  existence of a flower which possess the power of immortality but  one scientist is needed in this expedition so I trusted in my best friend Mark ; he is an Biologist and he has his own  small laboratory where he make some wonderful  experiments ; he has great knowledge in biology..

So, I trust him blindly in this expedition. And in this expedition I lost a lot of my team mates . Moreover, climate and environment of the sss Forest is not very suitable for expedition ,on top of it there is danger waiting for us in every steps.

 But after so many difficulties and challenges finally we find the Mysterious Rainbow Rose. I never saw such kind of flower in my entire life. This flower is really exceptional and  has some magical aura. This flower has seven petals , each petal has one different colour of rainbow may be that's why this flower  is called 'rainbow rose' and the flower has a different shiny glow and the flower was very tiny hardly about one cm and it has golden stem and silver leaves, Mark found it today  in the morning. 

After finding it Mark bring it to me directly ; so no other team mates of mine did not see it yet. Before I could check it thoroughly , Mark took it from me  and informed me that he would check it for few hours more then he would give it back to me .

I agreed with his decision happily ,  after few minutes he left the camp and few hours after he returned to the camp but to my surprise the mysterious flower was missing and when I asked him about the flower , he simply replied that he lost it , I was angry I confronted him and asked him how he could lost such precious flower., he at first replied vaguely and after few minutes he burst into anger and said  to me 

" That cursed flower should  be destroyed  at first or it will destroy  the existence of humans and other living animals...."

I did not know what  he wanted to tell me actually because after few minutes he left my tent and went to his  and at night I did not see him , he went missing from that night."

After finishing the page Sahana looked at us and said "That's it ,this page ended here."

"Yeah, I know that, turn the page and read the last page written by my grandfather in this diary in that  expedition," Sonia said to Sahana.

Sahana carefully turned the page because the diary was already old and if it was not handle carefully it could be damaged further,  after opening the page Sahana said to us "He wrote this page after four days after the previous page." then she started to read it for us-;

"" I was heartbroken ,  already a lot  of team member died in this expedition and Mark was missing from that day and I not seen him again till that day , neither anyone was able to find that mysterious rainbow rose again and no other team members believed in me that I actually saw that mysterious flower.

And I lot of team member died in this expedition so they did not want to continue this anymore , already one month passed from the date when we started the expedition, now I know already that I have to stop this expedition.

But in this lifetime I will always longing for one answer the mystery behind 'rainbow rose' since I saw it myself I know that it actually exists. I just hope someday someone will find this mysterious flower and unveil the mystery behind it."

"That's it.. After that the diary is blank, nothing more is written in it," Sahana said to us after reading the last page of the dairy.

"What you both think of it now?" Sonia asked us.

"What you want to do if the mysterious flower really exists?" I asked Sonia immediately.

"I want to complete the expedition now and want to find the mysterious rainbow rose," Sonia said to me.

"Will you help me?" Sonia asked me.

"Honestly speaking Sonia , I am not convinced yet, your grandfather was old at the time of expedition and he already lost a lot of team members during that expedition it could affect him mentally and moreover he himself wrote in his diary that no one saw that ' mysterious flower' except him and his best friend Mark  and from that same very night Mark was missing who was best friend of your grandfather, may be it could affect him more and he imagined such incident at that moment, mental break down could lead a person to near his dead end," I said it to Sonia.

Sonia looked at me and nodded her head in disappointment and said "I know that you are not going to believe it until you saw a concrete evidence."

Sahana said to Us "I believe what is written in the diary is true and we can start our expedition and can find by ourselves the mysterious flower really exists or not."

I rolled my eyes and said " Chasing wild goose not give us anything."

Sonia sighed and said , "Doll your Bua is not believing this story and until , unless she believes it herself no one is able to compel her."

Sahana said to Sonia , "Yeah aunt Sonia I already know it."

I said to Sonia " Hope this will not affect our friendship Sonia."

"Of course not silly,  Nothing will affect our friendship," Sonia said to me.

After that we three started to watch our favourite movie together.
