Mystery of Rainbow Rose

CHAPTER-3

Anira's Point of View

I wake up in the morning at 6.00 A.M , it was my daily routine from last ten years , I was always an early riser . I looked at Sahana , she was in deep sleep, I let her sleep for thirty minutes more and went towards the bathroom and did my morning routine and change my dress and thrown my dresses into the laundry basket and then I left my bathroom.

I walked towards my bed and Sahana was still sleeping peacefully , I woke her up and she was whining like a baby .

I said to her , "Doll, stop whining , you know that you have online classes. So, get up and be ready. I will wait for you in dinning table."

Sahana said to me,  "Bua please ten minutes more."

"Doll if you don't wake up now, I  will call your mother." I said to her.

Sahana immediately  woke up and said to me, "Bua it is not fair!"

I said to her , "Get ready and and join me in breakfast table."

"Ok. Bua..," Sahana said to me and went to the bathroom.

I went to the kitchen and arrange our breakfast in the dinning table, I looked at the clock it was already 7.15 A.M , Sonia might not woke up yet, I thought to myself and knocked the door of her room repeatedly and after few minutes of continuous knocking , I heard Sonia said to me , "Oh.. God Anira, please let me sleep.. it is just 7.15 A.M."

"Sonia , I make gajar ka halwa (a sweet dish made of carrot which can be eat anytime in a day) today if you do  not come out early for breakfast it may be finished and you have to eat something else," I said to her.

"No, no wait I will coming with in 15 minutes," Sonia said to me.

Plan successful !I thought to myself when we live together in past for our studies , Sonia was always a late riser and when I needed to wake her up early in the morning , I made her favorite food specially  Indian food for breakfast and threatened her that if she would not woke up early I would distribute it to others and it always worked in the past, I was glad that it still worked on her.

After ten minutes Sahana joined me in dinning table , I was waiting for both of them .

Sahana said to me, "Bua , where is aunt Sonia?"

I said to her, " Sonia will join us soon. She is getting ready."

As soon as I finished my sentence Sonia joined me in dinning table and asked me , " Where is gajar Ka Halwa?"

I gestured her to seat and after everyone took their seat properly around the dinning table, I served puri and aloordum  in plate and both of their face lit up in joy and after that I served the gajar ka halwa in bowl and they were just digging into the food.

Then I made three cups of coffee for us and we sat on the sofa of the living room.

After few minutes Sahana said to Sonia , " Aunt Sonia yesterday you talked about some mystery. What is it? Can you tell us more about it? "

Sonia took another sip from the cup and said to both of us " Do you both believe in immortality?"

I and Sahana looked at each other, then Sahana said , "I do not know about it much but the whole world is full of mysterious things, may be in some where and in some places for some reasons it may exists. May be now we don't know much about it."

Then Sonia and Sahana both looked at me and by their facial expression , I clearly knows that they demanded an answer from me.

I said to them, "Sonia I already told you that  I do not think it can be real, may be it is a myth because people love to live a long live and thus these kind of stories spread."

I said to them again " Science does not have any proof of immortality , may be their can be some herbs which contain medicinal properties which can lengthen people's life but their is no proof of immortality or any immortal persons. Immortals are exist only in story."

Sahana said to me "But Bua people also do not believe in the past that someone can actually be able to go to moon in future and those stories are known as fantasy stories in past but now humans are able to go to moon."

I said to Sahana " That's true but people's imagination of moon in fantasy stories are completely different in reality, those stories and real moon are not same at all. "

Then I looked at Sonia and said "Sonia if you want to share something with us you can share it with us we won't judge you and if there is any tiny possibility that what you are saying is actually true then I will help you if you need my help. But if I am not convinced with your story yet. I am sorry I can't help you in this but still you can share it with us and I will listen it as a story."

Sonia looked at me and said " Anira you know that my grandfather Oliver Williams was  a famous historian and in his life time when he was at about  the age of Sixty five , he went on an adventurous journey in depth of sss Forest to find a mysterious flower which could give someone the blessing of immortality."

Sahana asked Sonia immediately "Did he find that mysterious flower?" 

Sonia looked at us and said again, "I was busy with last few months to renovate my grandfather's house and I found a diary of my grand father where he mentioned that he actually find that flower and in his diary he wrote that the flower was known as "Rainbow Rose" and some tribe of  the sss forest named it."

After few minutes pause Sonia said to us  again "My grandfather in his diary written that he actually saw that  mysterious 'Rainbow Rose' and one of his team mates destroy it and he could not find it again and mysteriously that team mate also went missing  after that."

Sahana asked Sonia immediately "Did he find that 'Rainbow Rose' again?"

Sonia sighed and said "A lot of team mates died on that adventure trip ,after that incident my grandfather was unable to find that mysterious flower . So, he returned to home but he was so heartbroken that he died after few days of his return from that journey."

Sonia went to her room and after few minutes she returned and in her hand she held a brown colour diary. We could see that the diary was actually very old but due to it's leather binding it was not that damaged.

 She handed over the diary to me and said " Read the last two pages where he wrote about mysterious 'Rainbow Rose'. He actually wrote in details about physical structure of that mysterious flower and it is really unique, I never heard of this kind of flower anywhere."

I took the diary but I saw the clock it was already about 10 A.M and I had to take online classes for my college students and Sahana also had online classes , so I informed it to Sonia and we agreed on that in afternoon after our works we would sit again and would read what was wrote in diary by Sonia's grandfather and then we would give our respective opinions and would decide what to do next.
