Chapter Eight:

Cody POV

Once we finished lunch layla and Brody left the pack house i get up and grab abigail and we went out to my truck we get in and took the hour journey to the next town, once we arrived i pulled up to the shop and abigail says “this doesnt look like a shop you can buy potions” i said “thats the point, it supposed to look like that, she sells herbs” abigail says “oh, gotcha, lets go” we get out of the car and we headed into the shop, once we enter Melinda says “oh cody its you, come i got your order done” abigail says “what order” she says “the potion you need for you brother to move on with his life and away from you guys” abigail says “what kind of potion is that” she says “move on potion” abigail says “move on potion?” She says “yes, i make my potion names up by what my customer needs them, so i can keep there ingredients together so if someone needed this one i can whip it up for them” i said “great Melinda please go get it” Melinda walks to the back and i said to abigail “whats wrong, do you not want this” she says “i do, i want both my mates, and my brother to be with whoever he chose, I’m just worried” i said “its ok, this will work its are plan B remember if we can get him to realize layla isn’t his then” abigail says “why not just have her mate him, then we be a group of 5” i said “thats not happening, he has done enough to her to not even give himself a second chance if he control his urge and wants and let layla pick her destiny then yes, maybe we consider, bit now no, we need to get him to move on” abigail stays silent and Melinda walk out and gives me the potion i pay her and i pull abigail away from the counter and out the door we get into the truck and i said “I’m sorry, i know you want your brother to be happy, but we will only use this if we need to ok” she says “ok” and we drove back home. Once we got there i go to my house to meet with the others, and once i parked abigail gets out and heads to the door i see layla opens it and lets her in and Brody comes out as i get out of the truck and says “whats wrong with her” i said “she doesnt want us using potions on her brother, and made a suggesting maybe layla should accept him” Brody says “the hell he get his hands on her again, he is a monster” i said “i know, i have no idea to get her on board now” Brody says “maybe layla can knock some since in her, and plus this is just plan B we may not never have to use it” i said “i know i told her that” just before we headed to the door it swings open and abigail has tears in her eyes and she looks at us and ran towards the pack house and layla walks out and i said “what did you do” she says “all i said i wont accept cullen he went too far and if he did have a chance i choose my mate” i said “that sounds reasonable” she says “i know, she yelled at me and started crying and ran out of the house” i said “i go get her and talk to her” they nodded and i started my walk to the pack house.

Layla POV

Once we got to my house after lunch i go into the living room and sat down, Brody comes and sit next to me and i lay my head on his shoulder. He says “are you ok” i said “yeah, I’m fine, just alittle tired, why cant cullen just move on and be with Chrissy and the baby” Brody says “he has always wanted you honey, and once he had you, he isn’t going to let go, thats why he told us all he is saving himself for you, yes he hung over all the girls but he never slept with them, i don’t know what is wrong with him now” i said “because i given myself to him and he is an alpha and once they get what they want they get possessive” Brody says “if you dont mind me asking, how did that even happy” i said “at the gathering party the other night, when i was dragged off with him and abigail was drag off with Alex” i said “ i remember i kept a close eye on you and he didn’t do anything appropriate” i said “no, he was kind, it didn’t happen until he brought me home, i felt weird and then before i know it we where naked and kissing and then thats how it happen, but once we did it he said I’m now his and no one can have me, at the time it was so fuzzy” Brody says “sounds like he spiked your drink that night” i said “what, why” Brody says “because, he thinks he can have you and i told him you where my mate” i said “how did you know i was your mate” Brody says “well i am at age to find my mate and well when i saw you with abigail at the school your scent was intoxicating and when u looked up at me i was memorized by your eyes and my wolf says MATE” i said “wow, I didn’t think you could sense your mate before there age” he says “I didn’t either and thats when i proposed my idea to your dad and you got angry and you know the rest” i said “i know and I forgive you” he turns to look at me and plants a kiss on my lips and i kiss him back and before i know it someone was clearing there throat i let go and saw abigail i get up and give her a hug and said “did you get it” she says “yeah, we need to talk” i said “ok” Brody says “ill step out and talk to cody” i nodded and i said “go ahead” abigail says “why not just accept my brother, and then this will be all over now” i said “what, are you kidding, you and Brody are my mate not him” she says “i will reject you then, to be his” i said “the hell you will, i dont want him and plus he has Chrissy and the baby” she says “ill get her to get an abortion and all this will end” i said “you cant force that on someone abigail, this is selfish dont you respect my wishes” she says “i dont care about those right now, i dont want to keep giving my brother potion’s to keep him in line” i said “abigail, i love you, but your brother has turn into a monster” she says “he is my brother and i love him dearly” i said “i understand you cant have it your way, and why are you acting like this all of sudden” she says “I’m not acting like anything” i said “tell me” she says “I’m being serious pick my brother or we are done” i said “abigail no, dont make me choose, i will only choose you then him” she says “fine we are over, please dont bother me again” tears are forming in her eyes and i said “abigail no, please, i love you, dont do this, you know its wrong” she says “back off tramp dont come near me” i back up and she walks to the door and I have a tears running down my face and she walks out the door and i watch her walk towards the pack house, i sit down on the couch and Brody comes in and asks “what happen” i look up at him and he pulls me to him and i said “its over with me and her, she says pick her brother or we are over” Brody says “i have no idea what’s wrong with her, but she been acting weird since lunch” i said “ oh you notice that too” he says “yes, if it comes to it you will always have me, i will protect you” i said “i know, only you, but we need to make things right” Brody says “yes, your correct, lets make this right” i get up and Brody gets up and i said “please trust me and forgive me” he looks at me funny and   I said “I’m talking to cullen” he says “no, he will, you know” i said “he can try but if he does i cant get pregnant, you already did that, thats why i said forgive me” he says “ i will always forgive you” i said “good” i kiss him one more time and we walked to the pack house, we arrived and went up to abigail room i hear her yelling at cody and balling i said “help him get her to calm down” he says “ok sweety please be careful” i said “ i will” i watch brody go in and i walked to cullen room i help myself in and he was just walking out of the bathroom just in a towel and he says “i knew you come, are you ready to be marked” i said “cullen I’m not here to be marked i am here to make a truce, i will not give up on my mates but. i will make a deal with you for one of them” he stalks over and says “oh really now, how do you plan to do that” i said “a truce, you stop being a monster and move on with your life and be with Chrissy and your baby and i wont appear around here” he growl and says “you are not going anywhere” i said “calm down cullen it was a suggestion” his eyes go black and now his wolf is in control i said “give cullen back” he says “no, you tricked me and now you will pay” before i know it he has taken my head and tilt it and i said “NO, STOP” he says “BAD GIRL, you belong to me” and he moved into my neck and bites down i scream in pain and i said “cullen this isn’t right, let go, it hurt, your hurting me” then he rips my clothes off, he picks me up  and puts his hard on into me he gets me against the wall and keeps going, harder and faster and before he release his bite on me then releases himself in me. He holds me there for a minute and licks the mark to seal it and he pulls out and lowers me to the floor i slide down  and wrap my arms around my knee’s the door swings open. Brody walks in and looks at cullen and said “WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO” he says “SHE IS MINE ALSO BRODY” he says “THE HELL SHE IS” he looks at me naked with my clothes torn to pieces in front of me and he growls, he walks over to me takes his shirt off and puts it on me picks me up and cullen says “I’m done talking to her” he says “YES YOU ARE, COME NEAR HER I WILL KILL YOU” cullen growls say as “wanna bet” but brody ignores and walks out his room and we walk passed abigail  and cody and he says “your wish came true” and walks away he takes me to the clinic and the nurses put me in a room and brody lays me down i look at him  and i said “I’m sorry, he did it so fast, I didn’t expect it” he says “baby, dont worry about it, he marked you on the spot abigail supposed to “ i said “really, I didn’t want this, but u thought i was doing it for abigail to make her happy” he says “i know sweety” the nurse walks in and says “go pee in this” and walks out I get up and walk to the bathroom and pee in the cup left on the counter i walked back out and put the gown on and got back into bed, the nurse comes in and grabs it and walks out 10 min later, the doctor comes and she said “congrats, your pregnant” i look at brody and i started crying and she grabs the ultrasound machine and puts lube on it and said this will go inside me to see the baby i said “ok” and once she was done i open my legs and she inserts the wand into me she finds the baby and says “baby looks good, your about a week along” brody says “baby is mine honey” i said “yes, yes it is” he plants a kiss on me and we let the doctor finish up and she wipes me up and closes my gown and says “be back in 3 weeks and we get the baby heart beat and other check ups” i said “ok” then the doctor leaves and i get up and i said “lets go to my house so i can get clothes on” brody says “sure” he picks me up while I’m still in the gown and walks me home.

Abigail POV

I get to the pack house and up to my room and not far behind me is cody he keeps yelling for me to slow down and i open my door and walked in he walks in and closes and says “what happen back there” i said “i told layla to accept cullen and forget about me” he says “ you cant demand that from her, she will always follow her heart and her heart is set on you and brody” i said “I don’t care, i am rejecting her tonight after dinner” he says “the hell you will” i said “watch me cody, keep me from doing it i will reject you also” he says “no you wont, and you know that” i said “be careful what you say cody” he doesnt say anything and i keep yelling at him and 10 minute later brody walks in and says “clam down, layla went to talk to your brother and see if we can make a truce” i said “good, lets hope we can accept it and we all can move on” not even 5 minutes later i feel a burning in my chest and i started screaming Cody’s says “whats wrong” i dont answer and i keep screaming i fall to the ground and started rocking back and forth. Cody gets on the floor and pulls me to him and he sees something on my neck and he looks at brody and he looks back at my neck and he bites down on his mark i growl and moan and he stays like this for 15 minutes and once my wining stoped he lets go of my neck and licks it and i said “brody check on layla” he walks out of my room and i hear him kick the door down and there was yelling we both get up and once we get out of my room he is holding layla and brody says “your wish came true” he walks away with layla half naked in his arms and covered in his shirt i drop to the floor and i started crying. Cody pulls me up and we both go to cullen room and walked in and i said “WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO MY MATE” he turns with only shorts on and said “I didn’t do anything to your mate, he is right there” i said “NO, LAYLA, SHE IS ALSO MY MATE” his eye brows go narrow and said “is that why she was here to “TALK”, well she is no longer yours she is mine now” i said “YOU DID NOT CULLEN, PLEASE TELL ME YOU DIDNT” he says “oh dear sister I did, now all you have to worry about is cody and her anymore, i marked her and mated her now she belongs to me” i said “the hell she is cullen she is mated to brody” he says “dont, care he better learn to share” i walk over to him and slap him hard in the face and before he could return one cody grabs me pulls me away and out of his room we make back to my room and i said “what the hell have i done, that feeling was my bond to layla when i drop to the floor” cody says “i know” i looked at him and said “ how you know” he says “i felt it, you are no longer connected to her, its you and me now” i said “there has to be another way” he says “sorry angel there isn’t, she belongs to him now” i started crying and i said “this is all my fault” cody wraps his arms around me and walks me to my bed i get in and he does the same and he pulls me to him again and i just fall asleep in his arms with agony and sorrow thinking i lost my beautiful mate, because i was stupid and selfish.
