Chapter Seventeen:

Week later:

Brody POV

I had Jason and Randel in my office this morning i told them they need to take over the pack work for the next 5 days. They agree of course they know how our system works. They where here when we first started this. I said “ok guys if you need me you know how to get ahold of me but ONLY IF YOU NEED ME” they said “ok Brody” i walked out of the office and down the stairs to send Cody and his warrior and kids off to go home. I saw a pretty bracelet on jewel wrist i said “who got her that, its so pretty” Layla says “ Liam” i said “really, how” she says “its not real its fake dont worry and plus it was $10” i said “i should be used to this shouldn’t i “ she says “yes, remember he is our future alpha for silver wolf pack” i said “what if i have a boy” and she says “what if our boy mate is a alpha daughter that doesn’t have a brother and he has to be a alpha for her pack” i said “your right again” she smiles at me. We hug everyone goodbye and i said a few words to the boys and i said “Cody your always welcome here along Abigail and Layla is more then happy she comes next time” Layla syas “yes, tell her to contact me and we patch up our broken friendship” Cody says “ok will do guys” i said “safe travels man” and i pull him to a man hug and Layla pull him into her sister hug and his mom joined and she kisses her son and told him her goodbye’s and we are sending one of our helpers with him to help with the boy and he said “i send her back once we arrive” i said “when your dad comes back you can send her back with him, but have her help your dad out ok, she knows how this thing works” Cody says “ ok, she will be with my dad and grandma, i have a room set up for her” i also said “she is a guest not a helper and to only help them and dad and grandmother out” she says “yes, alpha, i am a guest not help only for our pack” i said “your more then help, all of you, i pay you for your services so technically i am just your employer” she says “i know, and I appreciate it, this is way better then being force as help and nothing out of it, it’s what we go beyond for this pack” i said “ good, now safe travels” she nods and get in the suv and we watch them drive off. Layla says “that nice of you to do that for my brother” i said “i know, he is my best friend and the boys can be a lot of work” she says “i know” We get inside and Layla says “its time” i said “ what really” she says “yes” i pick her up and took her to our room i said “mom, take care of jewel ok for the next 5 days” she says “ already on it, now go take care of Layla” i said “ ok” i get a link that my parents are almost here so i had the help get there room ready and to meet with Layla’s mom after telling them what to do in the link i close it and  i get into the room, i watch Layla strip to nothing and i did the same and i move to her and plant my lips on hers and thats when i felt her body getting hotter and that means its time to take care of her heat. 3 days it been since we been in this room, we only get food and drinks and Layla seem to be more in heat this time then the last time. I finally let her have her release and so i filled her up and once i finished i lay on the bed catching my breath  and she says i am so sorry, am i tiring you out” i said “ no baby, your fine” a knock comes from the door and i said “come in after i put a rob on and Layla did the same our lunch arrived and they brought snacks and drink to stock the mini fridge. They leave and we get up and eat and talked before her heat comes back and once it did i went to my magical ways with her. 2 days later i woke up and Layla is out of the bed coming out of the bathroom wrap in towel and i said “ feel better today?” she says “yes, i woke up not feeling burning or pain” i said “ good, what would you like to do today” she says “take jewel out to the beach” i said “ok, not a problem since it is in our back yard” she smiles and she put a bikini on and i head into the bathroom to get shower and once i finished i head into my closet and put swimming shorts on. i grab Layla and said you sexy and glowing girl” she says “ i am” i said “yes, I believe you maybe pregnant” she smiles and said “we find out in a few weeks ok” i kiss her lips and we head out of the room and got jewel ready and we head to have breakfast Layla pack a big lunch and snacks.  I grab all the fun toys to play in the sand and water and her mom got the chairs and stuff already out there . i said “lets go, its a relax day” we head out back and into the sand and we enjoy the day together.

Cody POV

I got back a day after i left Layla’s pack and her helper help alot with the boys and i apprised it, once we got to the pack house my dad and grandmother was waiting with Abigail. I get out and i walk to them and pulled them into a hug my grandma says “ you look just like your father you know” i said “everyone says that” she smiles and i said “how is the lone wolfs doing?” she smiles and said “thinking of them already” i said “yes, we are part of a big thing now, need to be also my pack members will accept them” she says “they are good, we have 30 families and 40 couples and 30 single” i said “wow, you find room” she says “yes, the singles and couples are in the complex with the two to one bedroom and the families that have 2 children are int the condo’s with 3 bedrooms and bigger like family 5+ are in the houses” i said “good” my grandma went to the car and help the boys out and Abigail pull me into a hug and i plant a kiss on her lips. I said “how you feeling” she says “ i am good, ready for the appointment?’ I said “yes, i cant believe you are again” she smiles and i said “dad show this young lady to her room, she is here to help you and grandma from Brody and Layla and she goes back with you when your done here” my grandma says “here Emily i show you your room” she says “thank you”. I watch her being escort in and my dad says “ i be with the wolfs that just got settle in and check on them, if you need me call me” i said “ok” i grab Abigail  and we head to her doctors appointment. Once we arrive they put us in a room and Abigail got her self set up and the doctors comes in and said “hello alpha and luna, are you ready for your ultra sound” i said “yes” she gets the wand into Abigail  and she does her exam and said “alpha and luna here is your baby” i said “wow, so small” she says “yes, your about 6 weeks luna” she finish her exam with the baby and cleaned her up  and said “ i need you back here at 9 weeks and we can check on how the baby is processing ok” i said “when can we find out the gender” she says “. you can wait until she is 3 months along or I can do a blood drawn test” i said “ doesn’t bother me. Abigail says lets wait for the 3 month mark” i said “ok whatever you want baby” i kiss her lips and she leaves to get dressed and we headed out to the pack house and we go eat. After eating  i went to my office and catch up on pack duties and got my beta and gamma and head warrior in here to do a few things that needs to get done. After they leave I finish my work an hour before dinner leading me to abigail room and i saw her walking out of the bathroom and i stalk over to her pull her into my body and plant a kiss on her and she pushes me on the bed where we make love before its dinner time.

Abigail POV

It was a good day to talk to Cody, he be back in an hour. But what do i tell him that Alex is my second mate. I lost Layla and the moon goddess does this to me. After what we went through. I spend a lot of time with Alex and he has changed. We did sleep together and i was happy i was further along then i thought. So the baby is Cody’s. Alex is ok with it but he wants one with me. After being pull from my thoughts Alex says “when are you going to tell him we are mates Abigail” i said “soon, I didn’t think this would happen and that other girl wasn’t your mate” he says “ i am sorry I didn’t expect this to happen either, but i am not rejecting you, I worked really hard to change and now i should be able to be with my mate” i said “ i know Alex, lets do it tomorrow he is coming back today okay” he nods and i plant a kiss on him and get another round in with him. Hour later we finally finished and i got up to take a shower and change and i said “Alex let me break it to him ok” he says “ok i give you 72 hours if you don’t i will tell him” i said “ sounds fair” i kiss him one more time and left his house. I waited at the door for Cody and i saw him pull in and i waited until he came to me and plants a kiss on my lips and said “you seem different” i said “what do you mean” he says “you just seem different” i said “yeah maybe I’m pregnant” he says “you are pregnant you are glowing beautiful” i blush i said “doctors appointment is here soon lets go” he grabs my arm address his dad and grandmother and we head to the doctors appointment. She said i am 6 weeks along, that gave me relief and we headed back to the pack house for lunch and after cody gets some work done I’ll wait in our room to give myself to Cody. Once we were done he shower and we grab Ethan and  Cullen was hold his son and i said “ are you ready to take responsibility for him” he said “yes, i think i can now” i said “good, he always been yours, he wasn’t never official ours” his eyes get big and said “what” i said “i watch him, like i was his mother you where always his guardian and father” he says “thank you sister” i said “no problem” Liam says “ dad, i found the one i love, and want to be with her forever” he smiled and said “you will have to wait to find your mate and cant choose your mate son” he says “no, i found her” we laugh and he said “really” he says “yes, its Jewel” i said “jewel, Brody and Layla daughter” he nods and i said “how do you know kiddo” he says “ i just don’t want anyone else but her” i said “ok, when you get to the age we see if she is your mate ok” he says “thanks auntie” i walked to Ethan and he says “mommy am I going to get a baby brother or sister” i said “yes, baby” he hugs me and we all headed out to the back yard to let the kids play on the playground with the other pups there before dinner. Alex comes over and Cullen says “hey Alex what’s up” i said “hello Alex” he says “so did you tell him?” i said “ no not yet” Cullen says “told who what” i said “ Alex is my second chance mate” Cullen says “congrats guys, you dont know how much Alex has changed and became a better man, the moon goddess is giving you guys a chance after all” he says “yeah, and I’m surprised with Abigail here” i said “cant deny that” Cody says “ who got a second chance, second mate?” i looked a Cody said”just a wolf on the pack, she is one luck girl to have two mates” he says “ i am sorry Abigail, i thought maybe you” she smiles and said “maybe soon” he comes and kisses me and said “ hey guys want to go talk. They said sure and Alex and Cullen said “goodbye to me and gave me the look i said “ i tell him after dinner” they all walk away.
