Janice returned from the hospital. Bethany was completely stunned when she saw her.
The formerly tomboyish Janice was wearing a lace dress! Her ponytail was down, cascading over her shoulders, and she wore three-inch high heels. She looked incredibly feminine.
“Wow! Janice! Is that you?” Bethany pulled her around for a full circle. “You look so womanly! I can’t believe my eyes!”
Janice laughed. “So? Don’t I look stunning?”
“Yes! You’ve ascended to the ranks of angels!” Bethany teased.
“You’re in love! Aren’t you?” Bethany’s smile was smug.
“Bethany! You’re amazing!” Janice was shocked. “How did you know?”
“Your happiness and sweetness are written all over your face!”
Bethany poked her chest. “You’re even wearing a padded b*a! The signs of being in love are too obvious!”
