After exchanging names and phone numbers with Jacob, Bethany hurried to the shopping mall where she had a part-time job interview.
She had heard that the mall was looking for models for product displays and had submitted her resume for a part-time position. The interview was scheduled for the afternoon.
"Go to the fitting room on the first floor and change," the interviewer said directly. "The show is about to start."
"Huh?"
She got the job this easily?
Bethany was happy but also a little worried. "The show? You mean, a fashion show?"
She had no experience as a runway model! But she thought it was just a position for a product display model!
"Yes. Hurry up! We're short of hands! 300 dollars an hour." The last sentence of the conversation completely dispelled Bethany's doubts.
