By the time Eva arrived at RIMS, Jose and Axel already had all the equipment set up and tested. Which Eva very much appreciated, especially since she’d given Axel the entire day off yesterday to dive at Tranquility Bay. She just hoped he wouldn’t get the diving bug.
He better not forget his responsibilities.
Not that Eva could say much about it, seeing as she’d only just arrived to work herself. It had been a rough night with Soledad’s illness. But the girl was doing much better now—Eva had to admit, Clarissa’s tisane seemed to help—and was looking forward to Romina’s famous caldo de pollo. Eva would have to heat up some leftovers once she returned home. Just not on melamine. She made a mental note to buy ceramic bowls.
