Thomas watched Eva through the door as she hopped onto her Vespa and sped away. She was even more gorgeous than he remembered. He regretted not keeping in contact with her, but it wasn’t by choice. She had made a clean break after their summer together interning at RIMS thirteen years ago, and he’d done his best to respect her wishes.
