Looking at his handsome features suddenly magnified in front of her eyes, Laura felt a little suffocated. Her heart raced wildly, thumping loudly in her chest.
"Cody!" A sudden voice interrupted the tense atmosphere.
Laura quickly pushed Cody away and sat upright.
She was secretly annoyed with herself. Why was she blushing? Her cheeks were burning hot.
Why didn't she push Cody away? Was she mesmerized by him?
She looked up and realized that the unexpected guest who interrupted them was Amiyah.
Laura frowned unconsciously. What was Amiyah trying to do?
Amiyah walked in, her high heels clicking on the floor. She glared at Laura and turned to Cody. She suppressed her jealousy at seeing the both of them together and said in a gentle voice, "Cody, I didn't disturb you, did I?"
