Meeting Cody's gaze, Laura smiled sweetly. "It's not a big deal."
"Laura, quickly have a seat." Stanley was in a good mood after Dolly had been found. He instructed Martin, "Bring her a set of utensils."
"Yes, sir." Uncle Martin ordered the servants to serve Laura.
As he spoke, Stanley moved his seat aside to create space for Laura. He gestured to Laura to have a seat beside Cody.
Mr. Saunders, you're too kind." Laura smiled gently as she took a seat by Cody's side.
