Well, technically he lost his mind and I, being his ever-complying best sister hell bent on letting him have his way with everything, went along with it. It was a birthday gift for him. He wanted to go hiking in the Grand Canyon. It was a cool idea. Adventurous. The only problem was that he was only here during his summer vacation. And the temperature at the canyon went up to one-twenties. So clad in full-sleeves and tracksuits and goggles to protect ourselves from the fury of the Sun, we went ahead with his wish.
