~Office~ Shan's expression becomes disoriented when she wakes up in a new room. She frowned, puzzled as to how she had ended up sleeping on the couch, wrapped in a blanket. She noticed a nameplate on the table as she looked around. Before she could react, the door burst open, and a gentlemen dashed in. "Purple is red... Bro, apple is green!” They said in unison. The man in the military suit frowned and looked at the door and table to see if he was in the right room. After confirming, weird thoughts comes to his mind as he smiled at Shan and sat directly next to her with a creepy smile. "Are we so close?" Shan uttered in a sense of no interest. She isn't the type to talk to anyone except when it comes to . "Well, that won't be a problem. You know we can get closer and closer!" He said trying to move closer to her, Shan raise her eyebrows. “Not interested... Will you keep your distance away from me?” “Your words are a little overbearing, but just a second... what's your relationship with our lieutenant...are you... in that relationship? Tell me how you two meet and whether you're not afraid of him. He never has a woman by his side, you know. We even assumed he was interested in men... Tell me, have you two already done that thing... like sex... Ouch, who dares throw a bottle...Bro!?" They both turn their eyes to the newly arrived man leaning against the door as he crosses his arm, Shan can see the handsome figure of him in his military suit, as the man next to Shan rubs the spot where he was hit by the bottle. "Did that guy interrupt your sleep?" He ask facing Shan, she didn’t not respond to him as she was mesmerized by those looks. "Gray?" he asked, his gaze fixed on the man on the couch. "I didn't do anything, you are just too violent… Anyway, I'll leave the files you've asked me to find. Don't forget, we'll be waiting for you at the same place!" He stated his case and look at Shan. “One more thing, Ms. you're drooling!” he continued and laughed. Shan covered her mouth with her hand and gave him a sharp gaze. “Hey I was just kidding. I’m going!” he said and stand up. "Stay, I still need to confirm something!" The man said, Gray nodded and returned to his seat on the couch. "Can I take my leave now?” Their attention went back to Shan. “And may I have the reason as to why I'm here and how I came to be here?" For a handshake, the lieutenant walk inside and extended his hand. "I'm Aiden Throndsen, the one who brought you here; I didn't wake you up since you appeared to be exhausted." It was a professional tone and Shan fined it darn attractive. Shan accept his hand and squeezed his palm unintentionally after hearing those words, but he only stared at her. Shan feels embarrassed by her sleeping habits, believing that if she is truly weary, she will not notice what is going on around her. She smiled at him trying to cover her embarrassment. "Hmm... Throndsen, that sounds familiar... But well I’m sorry I cause you trouble. I'm Shan, Shan Lear. Your family name is really quite familiar. Any way about my secretary is there any news?!" She ask. "She fainted after the rescue. She's now staying at the clinic." "That's good, can I see her now?" He nod and since Aiden has stuff to do he asks one of the employees to show her the way. He also request that she wait for him when she finishes with her secretary. Shan simply nods, assuming that its an important thing as he sounded serious. Before Shan leaves, a man named Gray who was seated next to her a short while ago give a formal introduction of himself. Aiden tucked Shan's blanket into the cupboard after folding it. Gray only glanced at him in amused, knowing that his friend was acting strangely. Gray is aware of his friend's high level of awareness when it comes to his personal belongings that are touched or used by others. “Bro your actions are definitely showing me something new!” Gray spoke up because he couldn't stay silent any longer. “Its really not so you?!” he added “It’s just your imagination.” Aiden said while reading the paper that his now holding. “You really keeping secret from me, why I don’t know her?” “Annoying…” After twenty minutes, he saw Shan out side the building. Shan have her words with her assistant already, she also asked one of the soldier to escort Sam to the hotel. “I'm sorry for keeping you waiting, let’s go!” he apologized after standing beside her. Shan turn his head behind looking at him in wonder. “Where?” “Home” He said and start walking to his car. “W… wait… Why… Ahem… I mean…” When he turned around and grinned, she didn't continue her sentence. After their eyes met, she averted her gaze and said to herself. "What's wrong with you, Shan? You've met a lot of attractive men in the field, but this one has left you speechless." She whisper not knowing he just heard it. "Are you okay, Ms. Lear? Is there something wrong with your throat?" A light smile appeared in his beautiful face even in this dim place. “Ahem… I'm fine; maybe it's just the weather!" She swallowed her words and stared at him as he approached her, speechless at what he did next. “Here!” He murmured as he wrapped his coat around her. He examined her from head to toe before averting his gaze. “Not bad .” He whisper… “Yeah I know.” Aiden frowned at first before smiling at her unexpected response. Shan saw that smile again and can’t help but ask how come he looks so perfect.
