I might have said I didn't care to know about Ryder’s past but I can't help the bells ringing in my head or the curiosity brewing in my mind.
Ryder seemed rather uneasy when I walked in on his conversation with Evelyn, but he wasn't in a hurry to kick her out of the house. Heck, he even entertained her silently.
Which is weird for Ryder to do, he’s an assertive person who loves to show who’s in charge.

But she mentioned the same thing Kayla made a point of yesterday. “Non-perfomative”, Kayla I understand but why is Evelyn aware of such a thing?
