Maya ~_< Ryder doesn’t leave. He just stays there, sitting on my bed, back propped against the wall like he’s got nowhere better to be. After his compliment, there’s this weird itch crawling under my skin, like I have to live up to his expectations or even surpass it. It’s stupid, but. maybe not entirely. The silence stretches out.
