Fiona and my mother are in the lounge room.I can hear nothing, but can imagine the pain of unflushedthoughts.
Wade Dillon and his parents Dot and Brianfollow my father. Wade is slightly older than me and works for hisfather in their earthmoving business. Forced smiles and handshakesare reciprocated between me and the Dillons outside the ‘secretdoor’. The trio are ushered into the lounge.
