The plane soared high above the clouds, its steady hum the only sound that filled the otherwise quiet cabin. Lucius sat back in his seat, his gaze distant, fixed on the view outside the window. Catherine sat beside him, her eyes occasionally glancing towards him, but neither of them spoke. The silence between them felt heavy, like an unspoken tension lingering in the air.
